Boars Head Bistro
We've been going there for a long time now as it is a short walk away from a friends house.Always fantastic service, really nice food and great prices. Sitting on the balcony offers excellent views of the city too as you eat. Can't recommend it enough.

Food absolutely beautiful. Very well presented. Ate there five nights in a row. Staff so obliging, polite and smart. Well done Nello and staff. No hesitation in recommending this lovely restaurant and returning for more excellent food!!

Absolutely excellent, can't fault it for anything except the strange language. LolStaff really accommodating even carried our bags to our room. The pictures don't do it enough justice. Thanks for the break.

The room was lovely! Diana was an amazing host.Worth every penny. Felt really welcome within the hotel and they are so flexible!!I will be staying again!!

Boars Head Bistro
Fabulous 17th century building in the east end of Sunderland boutique hotel and award winning restaurant. Must stay in sunderland close to the city centre with enough to do in the area. Good for the theater or football events. Will definitely be visiting again when visiting family and want a night out and dont want to drive. The food is very good and the welcome was warm friendly and very helpful staff....one of my most positive reviews so far very impressed....not the east end of old.
