We booked Paul @Edinburgh DJ hire for my birthday last minute. He was so incredibly helpful at helping us with our playlist. He played so many great tunes and had everyone out on the floor! Highly recommend his service and we will definitely book again!

Paul did our wedding early January. Price was very reasonable and communication very good in the lead up to the day. In terms of tunes, Paul took our wish-list and peppered it really well with a mix of old and new tunes that played brilliantly to the demographic of the room. Would definitely recommend.

Paul recently played at our Wedding, he took time to understand our musical tastes and wants for the day and then played a great set all night. What he did particularly well was to read the room and there wasn't one moment when the dance floor was not buzzing with guests dancing.

We hired Paul to DJ the evening reception at our wedding earlier this month, he was fantastic. Played really great tunes and kept people on the dancefloor all evening. Guests have also commented saying how great they thought he was. Would highly recommend.

100% recommend. Paul was very responsive throughout the booking process and not only took our preferred playlist into account but also open to requests on the night. He was very attentive to getting it right from lighting and sound to making sure our party guests were having fun. I especially appreciated his efforts to be early on the night and have an emergency back up in case of inclement weather. You won’t be disappointed!

Paul was fantastic! Matched the vibe of our wedding party, was flexable when we were running behind schedule, happy to allow someone else to DJ with his kit for a bit for a Celidih, provided some party lighting and fielded many questions and anxious queries from me with calmness and clarity.I also thought it was a very fair price and it didn't jump up the minute I said 'Wedding'.Highly recommend.

As a ‘1972 vintage’ couple who are huge music fans and, let’s face it, nerds about it - plus being extremely choosy - our wedding disco was incredibly important to us.We needed someone who wasn’t just going to play the ‘regular’ wedding disco cheesy staples and would understand our passion for the best danceable music of the last 4 decades.In Paul we found the perfect person who ended up absolutely smashing it! It was a perfect blend of many of the ideas we had requested combined with expertly ‘reading the room’ and changing up the genres and eras, keeping that dance floor full!Paul is very experienced, kind, and the utmost professional. He was focused and dedicated and only needed to check a few tiny things with me along the way to make sure we were getting exact what we wished for - which we did.His set-up looked and sounded fantastic all night long and was perfect for the small size of our venue.I don’t think any of the diverse set of 80-odd guests made a request, because there was simply no need.Highly recommended!Sue, Edinburgh

Edinburgh DJ Hire were absolutely fab and great value for money. My guests last Saturday night were dancing all night and we had a ball!DJ Paul was very professional, setting up the vast array of equipment he brought with him in good time before the event (which had tricky access to boot). We provided him with a list of tunes to gauge taste by and he did a masterful job of weaving these in to proceedings, matching the vibe of the evening as it went on.10/10 will go with Edinburgh DJ Hire next time!
