It's OK. Best I can say, nothing great about it, it's a supermarket, it has a range of things. Cannot say it felt like a good flow like other supermarkets. Things just felt....misplaced, hence struggling to buy much. Ended up hitting Marks and Spencer instead, everything seemed better laid out, easier to locate.

Just been to Sainsbury in Alnwick. What a pleasure it was, I love the new layout of the store, wide aisle.The store looks brighter and fruit and vegetables look better. It is not finished yet but it is so much better.I did go round the vegetable aisle twice to find the potatoes but it was just a joy to see all the new things they had in store.The staff could not be more helpful, and kind.

Great Sainsburys store and now with the addition of an Argos in store. I always use the Sainsburys Alnwick store whenever I'm up this far north. Free car parking and with plenty of spaces; non of that rubbish pay to park and get a refund with a valid spend in store.

Reasonably sized Sainsburys with a small Tui section for clothing. Although some reviewers mention a cafe, this isn't there anymore.The shelves were well stocked when we visited, but only one payment lane was open (although there were plenty of self-serve checkouts).There are customer toilets here and plenty of parking spaces.

There ideally located in this area, serving a large residential area. There are other shops and a gym near by. They have petrol station and they have other products on sale when you enter the shop or when doing it online. There is about 4 aisle with a range of products for you to chose from, in-line the season or latest offers. There is a self service machine here but you have to join the line in order to pay. There is also a security guard on site as they have to protect staff, customers and products.

This is a decently sized Sainsbury’s located in the outskirts of Alnwick which makes it local for me. This is obviously a bonus because it is very handy if I need any bits and bobs that aren’t already in the house. They have most products in here and it is easy to park there. They recently added an Argos extension which makes it even more useful and gives it that boost of products that it probably needed. 8/10. Great supermarket.

Poor greeting from the customer service and poorer experience to follow when I needed some decent tie handle pedal bin liners. The only ones I had bought were four cornered , in my view fiddly and not what I was easily able to use.The manageress was stony faced and unhelpful. Refused to refund these that I had bought because I had no receipt [as I had bought them some time ago]. They had no decent bags in stock so I went away vexed and will stick to Morrisons!

Normally, I enjoy shopping at this particular Sainsbury's, however, today seemed to be an exception...I wont take away the fact that the shelves were well stocked, the store was well presented and so on, however, the staff came across as quite unwelcoming today and particularly at the checkout, the young man at sat at the checkout, masked up to the eyes, avoiding conversation, he didn't offer to help the elderly lady in front with her shopping, soon a lengthy queue formed and absolutely no effort was made to relieve this situation.To add salt to the wound, members of staff could be seen walking passed, completely ignoring the situation!I came away unhappy with my this experience today.It would be good to see more customer focus.

Narrow isles and end of isle displays limit ease of movement, difficult to stop and browse for items due to restricted space. Not a happy shopping experience, staff very helpful and friendly.

We Just popped in for bread .we were on holiday. Loved Northumberland. And the people are nice . We had come a long way ..(Staffordshire) . And it was lovely to be be respected buy all We came in to contact with . Thank you people up north .! .
