We enjoyed our granddaughter's 2nd birthday today with our family.We were a large party and Dario our server was very attentive and looked after us. The two eldest children were given crayons and activity books to keep them occupied.Every one enjoyed their meals and Dario ensured our two granddaughters meals came out first.

Well what can I say. Booked here for a birthday celebration. Was seated at our table and waited half an hour to be offered a drink. Had to go find someone in the end to take our drinks order. Staff were having a chat at the bar area. Then had to go find someone to take our food order. Staff were more interested in getting takeaway orders out the door rather than those sat in the restaurant. Several times we had to go shut the fire exit doors that delivery drivers were using because we were freezing. Delivery drivers were being rude because we shut the doors. When we did finally get our food it was cold. Yes we got 50% off our meal after complaining but it should never of got to that situation. I have used this restaurant many times in the past and never had a complaint. It's bad enough when 1 person complains about bad service but our party of 6 were less than impressed and none of us will be returning

I find you normally know exactly what to expect to get when you go to a Pizza Express.. the food is good (but the same as every other branch), the drinks are good (but same as every other branch) and the atmosphere is decent (and, perhaps, the same as every other branch). What makes different branches stand out, or at least be different from every other branch, is the staff. Here, they were great: very attentive, friendly, welcoming and on the ball. Glyn, in particular, deserves a mention.I had a Romana-base American Hot, after a calamari starter, all washed down with a large glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, and I cannot fault any of it. The restaurant was a bit empty, and maybe that's why service was so quick. Or maybe they're just good.

The two staff we interacted with were just lovely...very friendly and keen to make our meal a good experience. Their friendliness definitely added to the positive experience we had. The food? Freshly made and very delicious.Atmosphere a bit challenging as Crawley is grim in the evening, and we were the only ones on the restaurant when we got there. So how were we treated?...wonderfully and attentively :)

I quickly popped in here the other day for some lunch, the food is always delicious but I was amazed by how lovely the girl serving me was! It really made my lunch that bit better, I'm sure her name was Jennifer so thank you for making me smile!

Friendly staff but quickly came under pressure as the place filled. Pizzas were okay but a little undercooked but the real disappointment was the state of the loo. Semi blocked, fluid on the floor, not good. Situated on the first floor really needs to be checked on a more regular basis.

Had a lovely Saturday lunch. Service was friendly and very welcoming. Food was superb. I would definitely recommend and be back soon. The burnt ends pizza is delicious, sweet and lightly spicy I ordered it with thin crust. I was surprised how thin it was and still felt fully satisfied.

Found this branch online. Turned up to be told they don’t take walk-ins, bookings only, due to complaints and bad reviews, even though 2/3 of the restaurant was empty. However they did kindly (and they were kind), point us in the direction of Pizza Hut as an alternative (thank you).1 star to the restaurant, 5 stars to the staff.

Meh…..came in on a very quiet weekday. The service was akward with the waiter leaning and watching me eat. The new dough balls are a chef Mic special. Greasy and stuck to the bottom like pva. Toilets haven’t been checked since 11am.Great place to shelter from the rain but not worth diverting to visit.
