Abbey House Dental - Festival Park

I can only say for someone who is absolutely terrified of visiting the dentist, all the staff at the practice were so kind and understanding, from the receptionist who came and sat with me, the dental nurse and dentist they were so understanding. They did everything to put me at my ease, explained everything very reassuring. I am so pleased I eventually plucked up the courage to not just make the appointment, but step through the door. Everything was done at my pace. Their is a lot of work to do, but the staff have been amazing and supportive and although I still find it all very difficult and stressful, they understand, Its reassuring to know they are happy to work with me at my pace. Many thanks.

On entering the building there is a sense of welcome and calm - much needed in my case. The simple gesture of offering a drink is so lovely.The friendly team take time to talk and understand your requirements. Procedures are explained with clarity and no pressure. I found everyone to be very professional and reassuring and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I visited this practice after years of not going to the dentist due to severe anxiety. I had had an awful experience a few days before from another practice and was close to never going again. I was told I needed a tooth extracted within my smile line and was pressured into doing this but didn’t have the work done. I called Abbey House as I wanted a second opinion.From the very first phone call, Sam at reception was lovely. She was really understanding and reassuring. She went out of her way to get me an appointment with a dentist who was able to deal with anxious patients and was able to get me in really quickly.When I arrived on Tuesday, I was introduced to Dr Farman. He listened to my concerns and was very patient with me. He explained in detail exactly what he was going to do. He did a really thorough assessment including X-rays and made me feel completely at ease. The assistant was lovely as well and the whole experience was so different that what I’ve experienced before.I can’t thank Dr Farman and Sam enough. I do need quite a bit of work done to get my teeth in shape again but I trust that Dr Farman is the man for the job. There was no judgement at all which is exactly what I needed. If you are an anxious patient I definitely recommend this practice. They truly want to help you and are honest about what needs to be done. They confirmed that I don’t need any teeth extracted so the second opinion was well worth it. Thanks to everyone who made this experience as good as it could be.

Visited the stoke practice for the first time today and I am so pleased with the visit. The staff are extremely friendly, I was offered a drink, as well as given a tour around. Both the dentist and treatment coordinator listened well to my concerns about my teeth and were able to find solutions that would benefit me. I was made aware of all the treatment plans that I could choose and the wide range of services they have to offer. I look forward to my next visit here.

I visited the practise today after years of not seen a dentist due to bad anxiety attacks and bad experiences from my previous dentist leaving me in pain. I explained all this over the phone when speaking to Sally who reassured me that I would have no issues and would be dealt with in the correct way from walking in for treatment to leaving.once I got there I was greeted by sally and was asked to fill out a quick questionnaire and was made to feel at ease straight away. The simple thing off been offered a drink and been spoken to like a human goes a long way.once in the treatment room I was dealt with by Abdul and Megan.Again I explained my past and wasn't pressured into any treatment I didn't want. I was there for an emergency tooth extraction, the x-ray was done then the extraction was done and I can say I felt nothing at all. the whole procedure from start to finish was brilliant and I was having the procedure explained to me along the way. Megan was a great laugh and talked to you whilst having the tooth out. Abdul knows his stuff and has a laugh and joke with you. Its the first time I can honestly say that I will be attending again for more treatment to get my smile back
