Else Made

After sending alastair a design for my Cb1000r seat he was able to give me a quote very quickly and we arrange the date to bring over my seat and have a final consultation.At the consultation he was able to show me different fabrics and materials and we talked about the final details and what can be improved on design.Now for the seat it self I've got to say he nailed it on the head the design came out perfect everything i want from improved comfort to the design it self was there.Can't recommend it else made enough the quality and workmanship is top-notch alestair him self is really friendly and a joy to talk to will be using his services again

Difficult to find words to describe just how good Alistair's work is. My Versys seat is better than I could have imagined. 10/10 and very highly recommended.

Tremendously impressed with the look and fit of my seat when it came back from Elsemade. Built exactly to my requirements (Alistair did phone to check before the build) it looks absolutely great on the bike. Unfortunately not had the opportunity to check the comfort out yet as bike is now SORN for the winter, but looking forward to giving it a good test when the weather improves next year. Communication was sketchy at times, but I understand Alistair had other things in on his mind at the time (one of the joys of dealing with a small business I guess), but also down to the fact I didn't ask the questions up front, including expected completion, but looking at the end result it was well worth the wait and I was fortunate to have another seat to fit while mine was in for refit. All in all a top job.

Contacted Alistair for a upgrade on my 1000 XR seat and he certanly did not dissapoint. 2200 miles around europe a few days after reciving the seat back and it was the most comfortable tour I have ever been on! Looking forward to the 3500 miles though france and Spain later in the year!!! If you are looking for a upgrade on your current seat there is no point in looking elsewhere, Alistair is the man for the job! A huge thankyou again!

Had a bike accident, hit by a car looking at her phone. I have some permanent damage to my rear end and back the worst.I bought a new bike but could not ride it due to pain.I looked around at review's and saw a very bad and angry review which nearly put me off. I phoned around and done some checks and I decided to go with elsemade and I am very glad I did. Due to a big refit and comfort changes and 3 visits to his shop due to changes in my body I am able to ride my bike in comfort again. I think if not for him I would have had to sell the bikeI have met him 3 times and found him to be decent and fair and I think of him as friend.My seat looks amazing as well.Thanks to him an injured biker back on his bike.I can highly recommend him

I had the honour of spending the morning with Alastair today to get my street triple seat reshaped, recovered and alastair's custom comfort insert fitted. Really happy with the work hes done and hes such a lovely guy too. When you see the work that goes into your seat and see the poor materials taken out of other custom seats, you realise you're actually getting a bargain. Take care Alastair and i look forward to seeing you again when i get my next bike.

Honestly people if your looking for any upholstery works on your seats etc, Alister is the man he has done 2 seats for my now on my quads and they are unreal. His workmanship is second to none, you won’t find anyone better I promise. Check out his social media and I’m sure you will agree when you see his work.

Beware. I don`t understand these marvellous reviews ! I took 2 seats in for re covering and was told they would be done in 8 weeks. I phoned after the 8 weeks , the owner had no idea who I was, he disappeared to find out and after a while he returned to say there was another 16 seats before he could start mine and it would be another 3 months. So in total he would have had my seats for nearly half a year. When I questioned this, there was no apology, he said if you don`t like it come and get them"So I did. When I arrived he was very frosty. An argument started and ended with him saying "what are you going to do about it you old w----r"I`m 70 yrs old and there wasn`t much I could do about it. I was told to get out of his workshop.I have taken the seats to another upholsterer

Alastair from Else Made gave us outstanding service from beginning to end. Communication was great and he cottoned on quickly regarding everything we wanted done. He was extremely efficient and all our upholstered boat cushions were of a very high standard and done exactly as we wanted. I can highly recommend Else Made for fantastic workmanship at a very fair price.
