It's a nice clean stationAverage station and now the coffee shop has openBut what make this station in my eyes great are the staff there very friendly always helpful and very knowledgeable.

Average station on the Great Eastern Mainline which is just basic enough for today. Step free access is available on both platforms and a car park is available on both sides with some slightly extortionate prices to say the least.Both platforms are long and have a form of heated shelter and seating providing refuge from the elements as well as a ticket office on the London bound platform. Roughly trains every half hour serving London, Chelmsford and Colchester and a decent station for trainspotting.
