Rudby Hall

I had an indescribably magical weekend celebrating my 30th at Rudby Hall earlier in November. I still can't quite believe it happened! The building is so beautiful, and secluded within grounds surrounded by trees (stunning in autumn!) and a view over to the moors. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very luxurious, clean and comfortable, the dining room and library are great spaces for dinner and dancing, and the lounge was comfy and cosy yet big enough for reading and playing games in. That's not to mention the bar area below the staircase, which we thoroughly enjoyed gathering around! We did self-catering and this worked well (though you need a lot of hands to make light work of the running about between kitchen and dining room!), there was plenty of fridge and freezer space, though we could have done with some eeeven bigger cooking pots when cooking for 34. The owners and housekeepers were absolutely lovely, let us settle in and make ourselves at home, and only popped up again at the end to check everything had been ok... and it had! Everyone had a wonderful time.

We got married at Rudby Hall in August 2018 and the whole experience was absolutely amazing. From originally meeting Sandra and looking around the hall to leaving the day after our wedding, everything was perfect. The staff at Rudby Hall are all so friendly, helpful and professional. They make it feel as though everything is personal and important to them as well as you. We hired out the whole hall from Fri-Sun including the 13 bedrooms for family and guests and it was definitely worthwhile.Everyone is still commenting 6 months on about how amazing our wedding was. My bridesmaids and parents stayed overnight on the Friday with me and we enjoyed getting ready in the beautiful surroundings on the morning of our wedding before going to the church. When we arrived back at the hall, we had canapés and welcome drinks and the guests got to explore the grounds and relax. Sandra was there to meet us when we arrived from church which was a beautiful touch. Everything ran smoothly and the guests loved their bedrooms- all are decorated to a high standard. The bridal suite is breathtaking and has a balcony with fantastic views!Since then, we have visited for the Christmas private dining event which was brilliant! The food, decoration and entertainment was incredible. We have just booked on to the July dining event and cannot wait!

My partner and I visited Rudby Hall for their Romantic Valentine’s Extravaganza. We stayed in the Lord Falkland suite, which is absolutely beautiful! I made sure to take advantage of the large bathtub with a glass of prosecco in hand before our evening meal. The food, entertainment and service was first class. From the moment we walked in to the time we checked out we were made to feel extremely welcome and were well looked after by all the lovely members of staff. A special thanks to the butler for the evening who was kind and brilliant at cocktail making!

You can nitpick on small detail, but Rudby Hall delivers the stately manor experience in every sense. From rooms warmed to toasting by log fires, through to well appointed bedrooms with luxury en-suite bathrooms, the house and it's rooms leave you feeling as warm as you could ever have hoped for.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms sparkling clean yard was huge fun swings and tree house too every bedroom has a bathroom I would recommend this if you had the money

I just had my wedding at this venue yesterday …. The reception is amazing the environment and aesthetics is beautiful also the entire management crew were extraordinary. I’m glad I picked this venue.
