Car park is no longer free,£3 per day or £40 for an annual permit, it might not be immediately obvious about the parking charges as a few have been caught out and received a fine.

Paid £3 for parking. Entered last 3 digits of my rego incorrectly. Received a fine as a result. Explained the situation, provided receipt and bank statement to prove I did indeed, pay to the appeals process. Appeal was rejected. So essentially I was fined, not for not paying, but for getting my rego digits muddled. This is the world we live in folks, won't be returning.

Plenty of spaces, good price, allow yourselves plenty of time to walk around either the Falls and or the village. Steep hill down to the river side and village. Overall perfect place to park.

We paid for the car park. Which was 3 pound And now just received a fine of 100.00 . We payed with cash. As we where told the money towards the new Lanark And now we have to argue that we paid. What a joke. Please be careful if you park here

New Lanark Top Car Park
Be warned. We paid for car park, paid cash and entered car registration and assumed that it was complete. No ticket was issued so had no evidence of this. I've now received a fine for £100 (£60 if paid in 14 days). I appealed against it and appeal rejected. Needless to say we won't be visiting New Lanark again.
