Uplands Surgery

Took unpaid leave from work, having issues with heartbeats. On ask my Gp I've submitted a request to see the doctor. Walked 45 mins from my work to the gp and i was told that it was mistakenly picked up by this surgery because i was registered with them few years ago. Asked me to go back and ring my surgery to get an appointment because their system got confused that I'm still registered with uplands. What a joke.. I'm suffering because someone didn't do the job properly. Really hurt. If something happens to me, who's to be blamed?

Always prompt and excellent care.Would be good to see a more cheerful waiting-room but not a priority in current climate.

We have been patients of this surgery for 17 years+. It is by far, the finest and most professional Surgery in all of the UK.Every member of its staff-from the Receptionists to the Nurses and the EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL Doctors are superb in every aspect. friendly knowledgeable and full of Empathy and Humility.Would NOT change this Surgery for any other one in the UK

The phone system here is beyond a joke, you ring up and they say they're busy so boot your call, no queueing or anything. Prescription line isn't open when stated either. The only thing I can say this place does well is make a convincing case for making healthcare payable, since if this is what they can scrimp from the NHS they might as well not bother existing for all the good they do.

All the staff are excellent and caring. I Always get an appointment if I need one.

I’ve been registered to this practice since I moved to Swansea six years ago. They are also my son’s registered practice. Doctor Morgan was amazing through a very rough pregnancy, and the staff are helpful. Using the app we’ve always got a quick response and if I’ve needed to, I’ve rang and yes there may be a wait but they’ve been very helpful to deal with my queries.

I always had truly excellent care here, never had trouble getting an appointment and felt respected and listened to. Thanks to their care, the doctors helped me clear up several longer-term health issues.

Refused to give me a mental health diagnosis and just they tried to pawn me off to the mental health clinic in the city centre instead. The surgery told me that only the clinic can diagnose me and they would only do that after several group sessions with other people which I'm not comfortable with anyway. However, the clinic told me that's not true and that a normal GP can help me so basically I have been lied to by the staff here. You can't tell someone that they may have PTSD but not double-check with a mental health professional so I can have a official diagnoses and refuse to put that onto their medical records. Like what do you expect someone to do with that information?

Dr. Allchurch is brilliant: she is attentive and professional.Avoid Dr. Rayani. He will do whatever not to prescribe you the medicine you need.Repeat prescription service is substandard.
