Fantastic Christmas family event today. Excellent food and entertainment. The children loved the trip to see Santa, he was brilliant. Shout out to the elf who worked hard throughout. Steve the entertainer was fab too!!!

Alma lodge delivery of main meal chicken with traditional vegetables and sticky toffee pudding in quick time in room with 300 approximately guests with good quality hats off to chef and waiting on staff brilliant

My friend and I had a wonderful night at the Murder Mystery event. The staff are very attentive and professional, the food was excellent and the entertainment fab! I would highly reccommend this venue for any event.

Overall: My stay at your hotel was quite pleasant, primarily due to the fantastic staff and convenient location. The restaurant offered decent service with good food, though I opted for a simple burger. My only complaints concerned a draft through the window and the distance my room was from the lobby, as the stairs proved a bit difficult for my bad knees.Final Thoughts:Despite the minor inconveniences, I truly enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The staff's warmth and dedication made all the difference, and the restaurant provided a satisfying meal. However, I would recommend requesting a closer room to the lobby if stairs are a concern. Overall, I would rate my experience a 4 out of 5 stars and would definitely consider returning to this charming hotel in the future.

I stayed for one night in a single room. Good car park. The staff were amazing friendly and helpful. Room was basic, but clean and functional. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. No lift. Short walk into the town centre, so well located. Great value for money.

Just thought I would write a quick review, as I think they deserve it .We arranged to have a wake here, and they did us proud, everything was set out brilliantly, the staff were so friendly and accommodating..Nothing was to much trouble..The buffet was great, and the tea and coffee was served at the tables..And then to totally top it off, when we left, the management rang us up, to say they had found some money, under one of the tables, so we went back to collect it ( £50 )...How honest was that...Well done to all at the Alma lodge..

Great hotel to stay at rooms very clean. Staff friendly and helpful, great self-service breakfast with loads to choose from. Would recommend staying here.
