We went here as part of Ashe's Restaurant; what stunningly delicious food, great atmosphere, and staff service. Rita waited our table and was excellent.

Forty-Seven exceeded my expectations during its opening weekend. The staff, especially Ryan the general manager, were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was superb, and the rooms were clean with lovely furnishings. I would definitely book again. Highly recommended!

I checked out two hours after check-in, and as a newly opened hotel, the smell of paint in the room was extremely strong. When I reported this to the hotel they said there was nothing they could do about it. My advice is for your health and safety don't book a hotel that doesn't provide fresh air to its customers.

I hate writing a bad review but sometimes it’s necessary. The hotel has only been open for two weeks, so maybe some issues will be worked out. I was in a suite and it’s decorated very nicely, however there are large windows in the sitting area which have blinds that don’t close (supposedly this will be fixed at some point). One of these windows is directly across from the bathroom so you need to be dressed to go to/from the bathroom unless you want everyone in the office block across the street to see you. The bedroom was incredibly small for a suite, and there are no electrical outlets in the bedroom. The area isn’t great and there is construction noise all day, and a fair bit of loud music and yelling from the street throughout the night.Probably my biggest issue was the water temperature and the absolute lack of water pressure. It genuinely took 5 minutes of running the water to get it to a lukewarm temperature and it’s consistently only a little bit above a trickle. I was going to run a bath, and after 10 minutes, there was still only 1 to 2 inches of water in the bathtub, that’s how slowly the water comes out.Better value and location for the price can be found elsewhere.

A perfect cosy room, however, wow it was warm! The aircon didn't seem to do much, combined with the noise of the restaurants below, it wasn't a completely peaceful night. The staff were amazing, welcoming and so friendly.

Any fears of opening weekend hiccups were immediately put to bed on our arrival by the general manager. Our room was precisely as described, The Cosy is exactly that, beautiful decor and amazing touches that make this hotel really stand out from any other established, chain hotels.The cocktail bar is absolutely stunning and on a par with any cocktail bar I have experienced around the world. The general manager Ryan was kind enough to join us for a drink to explain the provenance and heritage of the bar and the building itself. I'd put the bar on your list of Manchester bars to experience.The breakfast was incomparable to any breakfast I have had in a hotel before; fresh, tasty, sophisticated and completely original.Beautiful hotel, warm and attentive staff, would come back in an instant.

Had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived.The bedrooms are slightly on the smaller side but are beautiful and luxurious and have everything you need including, fold away ironing board, iron, hair dryer, mini bar, blue tooth speaker, tea and coffee facilities and even an umbrella.Not forgetting the wonderfully comfortable bed.This was the perfect location for us as we needed something central and near the Albert Hall which actually turned out to be a minutes walk away.Thanks for a lovely stay.

Fantastic. Stay here. Location is perfect- just across from MCCC and nestled amongst fun restaurants and bars.The room was fantastic. Great bed, fluffy towels and dressing gown, deep pillows. Immaculately clean. Mini bar, coffee. Everything you need.Restaurant and bar are brilliant and very reasonably priced. The team on duty were warm, welcoming and can't do enough to make your stay perfect.Enjoy your stay and I will definitely stay whenever I'm in Manchester.
