Relatively cheap parking, 1 hour free or 90p for 2 hours. The machine hardly works though, first it printed the complete wrong Reg, then it took 50p and wouldn’t give it back or allocate it to the money paid. So ended up costing us a bit more as took 3 times, another couple also struggled.

Been many times,nice little town new mills, great shops, chippies, lovely butchers. Then down by the river goyt and the torrs, and a short walk along the sett valley trail into the lovel village of hayfield.

all day parking fee is £2.60 and cash only, the car park is a good location to walk around The Torr Trail which is at the back of car park. free to pick your kitchen herbs at both sides of car park entrance.

Decent sized spaces. You can park for one hour for free. The pay machine wasn't working when we went so it was free anyway.Tip: If you arrive at 17:00 you can stay for free until the following morning with the hour's grace as the fee paying period finishes at 18:00.Tip: Tickets are not interchangeable as you have to put in your car reg no
