Holgates Ribble Valley

Stayed at this campsite twice now once in August in a caravan and just last weekend from Fri 21st Oct. This break we stayed in a beautiful, luxurious lodge. Again enjoyed the peace and quiet the stunning scenery of Pendle Fell

A great visit this weekend. The grounds and facilities are immaculate and the staff were all great. Plenty to do in the surrounding area or a great place for a peaceful retreat.Highly recommend and looking forward to out next visit.Thanks to all, Chris & Clair

This Holgates Holiday Park was a fantastic place to go for our weeks holiday in the Ribble Valley log cabin we stayed in, it was the best we've stayed in hence the 5star rating we have given it. We will be recommending this Park to everyone we know.The cleanliness of the whole place was exemplary and the staff so helpful.It was so nice we have booked again for Holgates Sister Park at Silver Ridge on September 9th for another week.Will let you know if it rates alongside Ribble Valley

Lovely, clean and quiet park well maintained. caravan was very nice all the amenities you could ask for, very clean and free WiFi which is great two pre-teen kids good location for travelling around Yorkshire.

The location of the site is beautiful but the facilities on the site are limited. Although the shower and toilet block was kept clean, two showers and toilets are limiting if it was busy for tourers.May I add that my daughter and her boyfriend stayed in one of the Pods.Supposingly for family of four, it was totally inadequate, badly ventilated, dusty with cobwebs and far away from the toilet block. Should have some provision for this next to them. The cost for this for two nights was £80!!! Not a valued place considering!!We have stayed many times at the Silverdale site and would expect a higher standard of provision for visitors at Ribble Valley including a shop with basics. Please review this site and invest if possible..

We stayed as a family in a pet friendly lodge, it was lovely and spacious, well furnished and equipped, super clean too. The park is nicely landscaped and clean as well- we loved the fact there was a decent sized dog walking field, a play area and charming beck running through centre of park. Staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all, good value for money for a Feb half term break- we’ll be back.

Clean, well.run. needs more catering and shop facilities outside of weekends but otherwise very happy at first appearances. Have now stayed three nights on a hard standing pitch. Even with heavy rain we had a great stay. Staff couldn't do enough to help when we had an gas problem. Will definitely return

Excellent well looked after site with fully serviced pitches!Quiet, but not at weekends.At busy times the shower and toilet block are inadequate as there's only 2 cubicles and 2 showers!Has a bar, but only on Fridays and Saturdays!Mid way between Skipton and Clitheroe at the village of Gisburn, plenty of places to visit and the countryside is wonderful!
