Great coffee shop/café which does fantastic breakfasts.The butchers itself had a great range of products and a wide selection of meats. Their ready made meals to take away are well worth a try.

We have been coming to Jacksons for over 10years .The meat is usually of a high standard until this week.I bought two stuffed pieces of pork with apple on top.There are no words to describe it ..it was inedible, tough and you would certainly choke on it.Buyer beware.

Butchery is amazing, pies, lasagne, salad tubs etc. Bakery also very good, selection of range is great. Certain foods average prices and other items maybe a bit more expensive. But, quality is at the front of it all.

We have been buying from Jackson's for a long time & pies are excellentLasagne is another favourite of ours but our last batch wasn't as good as usual..The mince was very watery and Lasagne collapsed when served.Usually it is excellent but the last batch of four we bought were not up to usual standard .This is probably a one off" and won't stop us from shopping here in the future"

Being new customers to this store and starting a new carnivore diet, we had the pleasure of being served by Callum. He had fantastic customer service, excellent product knowledge and the patience not to rush our transaction even though the shop was becoming very busy. We had ribeye steaks cut to size for us, ribs cut and also the offer of rubs and oven bags. All in all an outstanding visit and a guaranteed return. We would highly recommend this butchers.

It's hard not to like Jacksons Butchers in Ballynure. From farm to counter thier meat never disappoints. People travel to Jacksons from far and wide which says more than this review could about the quality, freshness & value of the products. Note they also have a sit in cafe what more could you ask for.

Was waiting in the queue with a number of items in my arms. People were moving to the meat counter to pay for their items whether they were buying meat or not. there were 3 or 4 guys taking payment. I was first in the queue when a large lady came to the unmanned till beside me. She told me that I had to wait for the next free person at the meat counter to take my payment as she was taking payment from the ladies behind me!! I was so stunned that she was ignoring the fact I was first in the queue, having spoken to me in a very rude manner, that I just stared at her. She just continued to take the items from the ladies behind me. I stood there for some moments before a guy was free for me to go to to pay. I explained to him what had happened and that I was not happy. He did have the decency to apologise on the lady's behalf. To cap it all one of scones I bought when I got home had a very long human hair in it!! Needless to say it went in the bin.. Exceptionally disappointed with such poor customer service and hygiene standards.
