Dover ferries

On our way back, we had a new ferry and had an entertainer for children in the kids zone.. it was very good and entertaining . Ferry offered hot and cold food, and most important children pizza was on the menu!Overall, we had an excellent experience.

On time departure from Dover to Calais. Not busy today and boarding super easy. Used dog lounge for 1st time ....it is excellent and includes comp coffee etc + soft drinks. Ship was steady and well stabilised for short but rough xing.

The major ferry crossing from England the France. Was treated very sensitively by a friend staff member. We didn't realise foot passengers need to arrive 90 minutes early. However dealing with her made the whole ordeal bearable. Full marks!

It gets you to the other side so good enough for me.Food not great but its ok, they do they best.

First Crossing from Dover in many years again by Coach ..even though not many queues it took ages to get through Customs ..all passengers of the coach through passport control but made to get off again for P & O Ferries and the toilets there not advisable to use ...not nice ..not a good first impression of the ferry company to be honest ..Boarding the ferry ..quick and efficient..ferry Ok ..food not as good or same quality as Irish ferries or Steam packet Isle of Man travelled on both recently.. disembarked quickly after nice smooth dry crossing ..return journey much the same ..only made to get off the coach once ..P & O let the driver collect passport..all In all good experience ..

Great crossing in good but cold weather with a hot breakfast. Sailed on time a duty free shop was busy but fully stocked. Had about 15mins wait a passport control.

Iv only sailed with dfds. Really easy check in & I always enjoy crossing the channel. On return I love to see the White Cliffs of Dover, Feels like home.

We Travel by DFDS Everytime we visit France and I can say that I’ve never been disappointed on any of the crossing I’ve undertaken. Everything is always clearly marked out within Dover port .so there’s no possibility of getting on the wrong ship . The staff are always on hand to answer any of your questions which you may have .

Travelling at a Bank Holiday weekend meant lots of queues. However, once on board the crossing was fast and efficient. There was plenty of space to sit and rest. The food prices weren't too expensive either.
