I bet they don't recall one of their drivers in 1977 running a young fellow driving a dark blue Mini Clubman off the road in the countryside - when headed to Norwich. A hit and run leaving me in a ditch as the driver headed back to the depot - saying later he was going to call and report the accident when he did get back. Left in a ditch and they never paid a red penny towards my damages and totalled my PHG 12J Mini. Still have pictures for those interested. The reason I posted today as it was an issue that came up on Facebook. A quick search shows they still exist. They would not have gotten away with it if they had lived in the US.
