Travelodge Swindon West

I love going to work out there... My son and my husband also go to work out there ...It's a good place, nice and polite staff... I just appreciates and recommend this simply gym... l

Stayed for two nights as business trip. If you try to get there walking from the train station, it will take you about 25 minutes. Great access to the hotel if you drive. They also offer hotel parking, but Im not sure if they charge for it.Room and bathroom was simple, clean, nothing to dislike. Good aircon / heating system. Beds are quite comfortable for a nigh or two.Prepare yourself for very low or none network reception and paid wi-fi, which I find a massive downside and due to that experience I will not stay in there any more. I also purchased breakfast option for £7.99 per day. Unfortunately that was not the best idea. Obviously I did not expect a continental breakfast, but cheap products offered to the guests should be chargeable at maximum of £5 per person. You will be better of buying breakfast in Subway or Sarbucks next door.

It's a basic Travelodge, rooms are perfect for staying in for one night for business purposes, clean, comfortable, nice beds. Bar and restaurant about as basic as you can get. Breakfast area tidy but food only good enough to provide basic nutrition. Evening staff polite professional and welcome.

I have booked a night at Travelodge Swindon West, and the air conditioning is not working. It is always turning off and when we asked for help, the receptionist was very rude and raised her voice at me. She did not even solve the issue and mentioned she cannot do anything about it. Also, there was no one at the reception at 9pm so we had to call instead for help. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have had and I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service they provide. I hope that there is something that can be done regarding this issue.

Quiet stay, basic room but we'll equipped enough to get your head down. Hotel felt clean and quite fresh.The catering here really let the stay down. Breakfast was extremely poor quality. Will choose a different option in future

First room was dirty, floor hadn't been cleaned and I don't want to know what those stains were...Was moved to a clean room and staff were nice about it.Plug sockets in the room were oddly small so plugging in my phone charger was a hassle - thought that was weird.They charge for wifi if using for more then 30 minutes when it comes free in most places.Road next to hotel is noisy all night long.Location is fineCan't give more then two stars overall due to the dissapointing room factors.

Stayed here for a few days for work. The hotel was close to the train station around 10 minutes by taxi. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was very comfortable.The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice.The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Maria was extremely professional.I would definitely stay here again.

GOOD OPTION IN SWINDONI like the more modern Travelodges, with the modern furnishings and the one-piece shower cubicle. It’s definitely a step-up from their previous décor. Located on a roundabout with a restaurant/bar downstairs and a Subway and Starbucks across the car-park, and a retail park across the road - you won’t struggle for facilities around here.Rooms are nice enough, no complaints and beds are comfy so a decent night’s sleep is on the cards.If I have to be picky: the car park is shared between Subway and Starbucks, and at peak times it’s painful to find a space. You just have to dump your car somewhere and then move it when Starbucks and Subway closes.But otherwise, 5 stars.

Our stay was great. We went a bit late and had to make some adjustments to our booking but staff was very accommodating and we managed to checked in with the adjustments.Our room was clean, and had all basic facilities in the room. Bathroom was clean had both shower and bath tub with hot and cold water facility.Location wise it was perfect. It is slightly far from the town center but it has got a few shops and cafe near by.They have got a plenty of parking space so you don't have to worry about parking. You just need to register your car when you check in.Price of the room was reasonable. We went of a bit busy time so was slightly expensive but if you plan ahead then it shouldn't be an issue.I recommend staying here.

Stayed here for RIAT weekend. The rooms are well clean with aircon. We stayed 4 nights seems they only change towels when you put the notice out to say so and fill up teabags. Beds were never changed or made when we were here. We were on the 3rd floor which was not bad apart from the people above us who seemed to have steelcap toe boots on or seemed to be moving weights around at like 4am in the morning or midnight. Breakfast was OK but seemed to run out of stuff quick. Same for evening meals seem to run out of food quick. No decaf tea
