Hotel Moorings

Nice hotel and restaurant. A little info... After mooring you must go in and register at reception. Mooring overnight is free and you get a free drink at the hotel bar (voucher issued at registration). We found it best to moor head on, as the canal bed at the start of the mooring pontoon (where it meets the footpath) is quite shallow and full of silt, so you can't get your stern in without wedging propeller.

Excellent place to moor up and there is a petrol station up and across the road that sells bits n bobs ;-)
