Staff helpful (unlike those in the Nat West). One star docked because of Muzak (who needs it?)Edit: update to 1 star because, having received a chase letter, it transpires that the branch never sent the paperwork I gave them on to head office!

Called to deal with card reader issue.Lovely, helpful staff fixed it for me. Good businesses succeed or fail on the quality of its staff. Those that succeed recruit the best and train them well. Nationwide is the best, and I'll never go back to banks.

Today (Tuesday 30th May) I visited this store at around 10am. I was completely fine at the front desk. The staff member was friendly and helpful. I suddenly felt dizzy and feeling faint that member of Staff was really kind and calming. She sat me down. She gave me a cup of water and a biscuit and made sure I was ok. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name I hope she sees this and I would like to thank her very much.

I went to this branch for the first time to open an account and was helped by Ms. Christine. She was very professional, helpful and friendly. What a great asset she is for Nationwide, it really makes a difference for customers to have someone like her at the branch!
