Bramcote Animal Rescue

Hi! Me and my partner visited here today to look for our new family member (a Cat) and was really really pleased! The lady who manages and looks after the animals clearly showed a massive passion for them, taking in unwanted animals keeping them healthy both mentally and physically whilst giving them so much love!Reading the previous review makes me slightly angry as yes, the place isn't quite as pleasing to the eye like some big commercial company. But have you every questioned why that is? In my eyes it's clearly because it's just a small family unit who have come together to care for these animals with profits being the last thing on their mind. They appear to have put everything into caring for them, providing adequate homes, food and medical care to them so they can be re-homes and lead a good life again. I think it's a really kind thing they have / are doing and should be commended for it not slated.I understand that they said a person was rude at that address, but everyone who I met was loverly.Anyway I was so happy with them I actually adopted our new family member and I would highly recommend this sanctuary.

A small, family-run shelter, who really want to get animals into good homes. Heard about them via word of mouth, after a pretty miserable experience trying to adopt a cat through Cats Protection. I recommend you try here first.

Not a good experience! we are currently looking for two guinea pigs for our daughter, after finding the Bramcote Animal Rescue website we were please to see that they had lots of guinea pigs available for re homing, I followed the advice on the website and called ahead to make sure they had them available, was told that yes, they did have guinea pigs and we were welcome to come down and have a look, we arranged a rough time and we duly arrived. No one answered the door when clearly they were at home so I decided to phone, only to be told that they had no guinea pigs having just given the last two pairs to a lady who just turned .... What a waste of a journey. Their customer service is terrible - refusing to answer the door to a potential adopter?? Really???, obviously they don't update their website to show the animals currently available and whoever answers the phone for enquiries needs to be up to date with what animals are actually available. We will be looking elsewhere for our guinea pigs and won't be recommending the Bramcote Animal Rescue. Its no wonder people use pet shops or private breeders rather than adopting if this is the type of experience they have.

Like others, I have concerns about the animals in this house. Lady is rude and unwelcoming. How it gets good reviews is beyond me. I won’t return.

Such a lovely clean place ..they really care about all animals

This is a place I haven't been able to visit in 16 months at least.It has such a wonderful choice of foods etc for all sorts of animals.The staff r so helpful and when u queue it is so wonderfully organised that u feel totally safe and protectedThank u to everyone there I enjoyed my visit so very much.Here's to next time.

Whenever I've needed help with an animal they've never got back to me or answered the phone and there have been many times that this has happened. Very unhelpful

I don't think these people liked us I'm not sure whether it was the fact that we were young (in our early 20s) or we were wearing Nike tracksuits not a good experience not very friendly not helpful. Also they had nothing but rabbits

Couldn't get on the website. Google didn't think it was safe.
