1st Castle Motorcycle Training

I can highly reccomend 1st Castle for motorcycle training. They got me through my CBT and full DAS course first time, having had no prior experience of motorbikes.Pinky and Brian were both excellent instructors, extremely experienced and knowledable. But also patient, funny and communicative, they put me at ease instantly.The adminstration is also excellent, and Terri books everything so all you have to do is turn up when they tell you!Now to get a bike and come back for Enhanced Rider Scheme!

I took part in the CBT training day and it was an amazing course from start to finish. Even the the weather took a turn for the worst at the beginning, the atmosphere created by the Instructors on the day which were Colin and Brian gave me confidence that I was in safe hands while learning to ride the motorbike but also that I was allowed to make mistakes with confidence that the instructors would help instead of ridicule me for my inability to ride first time.I really appreciate the positive feedback and encouragement given when undertaking the ride on the road section of the day. This helped with keeping me relaxed and motivated while dealing with the reality of being on a motorcycle while on the road.I would highly recommend anyone thinking of starting to learn how to ride to take it here.

I booked the DAS course for mid-late august only a few weeks before and with no prior experience with 1st castle. The communication prior to the course was really good. During the four day course the instructors were brilliant, and prepared me for the both of the practical tests perfectly. I would highly recommend!! The cost of the course was also very good value for money I thought! Thank you 1st Castle.

I had never touched a geared motorbike prior to doing my CBT at 1st Castle, and although I found myself against a leaning curve with some minor teething issues on the day, I finished with a lot of confidence in my ability to ride.Colin was a fantastically patient and light hearted trainer, whose jokes on the road steered my mind from tangling up the gears and whose encouraging words reassured me when I inevitably messed up anyway.Thank you for the riding confidence and for the chocolate orange cookie, Colin. I will recommend you to anyone interested in getting on a bike.

Absolutely amazing teachers, helped me through my Compulsory Basic Training course without a problem.Very friendly, helpful and easy to get along with. Can happily recommend these for the £150 was worth every penny

I completed my CBT course in September this year then got onto the A2 training course during December. Booking was easy and with the help of Pinky and Brian I was able to complete both mod 1 and mod 2 first time round with little experience because of their amazing training.

The best in the business.CBT was fun and painless - the staff at 1st Castle are experienced riders, fantastic teachers, and accomodating of any skill level.I hadn't ridden for weeks before my A2 training and test with 1st Castle, and my two instructors (Pinky for MOD1 and Brian for MOD2) were both brilliant.Come ready to learn and listen to what they tell you, and you'll make it through whatever test you're taking.Thanks again to the team!

Shame I can only put 5 stars as these guys deserve more!!!Could not recommend these guys enough! By far the best in the business! It’s a nice and relaxed way of learning how to ride a motorcycle! I’ve done my CBT, MOD 1, MOD 2 training and passed today! I had never ridden a motorbike before and it was something I was keen to get into. I did my CBT in July 2023 followed by DAS in September/October and had a great time and passed everything first time. The instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and find time for a laugh and a joke along the way. All of this made me feel at ease whilst learning something completely new to me. If you switch on, listen and follow their instructions you will be fine. Thoroughly recommend 1st Castle to all. If you’re thinking of using them to get your bike licence then just do it, you won’t be disappointed!! Thanks again guys!

Such a great motorcycle school! Honestly, everything you would want. Incredible administrative support, great instructors who are patient, understanding, they explain everything very well and have tons of experience. Passed my DAC Mod 1 and 2 first try so I think that tells you everything you need to know. Highly recommended!
