My company's £2,500 heating and plumbing job awarded to Phil Saxby/ Hythe Plumbing & Heating after two lengthy site inspections ended very badly with work hardly begun. Phil emailed on a Sunday afternoon 2 days into the job to inform me that he had pulled out because of the age of pipework; no discussion and no recognition of or apology for inadequate prior investigation.Getting an alternative (fully manned) firm to take over in the depths of the 2019/20 winter was very stressful and costly for the overall project which was delayed by 3 months. Our experience has put me off ever again using a 1 man band for any building or associated work.

Have used this company several times on major plumbing projects. These have not been simple as we live on the 5th floor of an apartment block! The work was carried out efficiently, on time and for the price quoted. Very friendly and professional service throughout. Would not hesitate to use HPH again and thoroughly recommend the company.

We've used Hythe Plumbing and Heating a number of times for small plumbing jobs. You always get a friendly honest service. They have recently installed a new shower room for us and did such a great job. They kept the area clean, kept us up to date throughout the work and completed the work on time and within our budget.
