The atmosphere is really nice and calm, the restaurant is in a busy road but you hardly hear anything from outside. I ordered platter for 2 which includes rice and spaghetti with beef shank and steak. The meat was delicious, the rice and spaghetti were okay. Nothing special about the rice and spaghetti for me but I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in this place. The service was really good and the staff made sure that you were happy.

My first time trying Somali cuisine, I was so delighted by the experience I came back the very next day. Food is mouthwatering and is Somali with some South Asian and Italian influence. Staff are amiable and attentive, waiting times are short, decor is a fusion of modern and traditional chic.I remember when this building was a dismal and grey bank, I'm so glad it was transformed into this warm and vibrant restaurant which better reflects the diverse community in Acton.I wish the owners lots of success!

As a newcomer to Somali cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised by the unique taste combinations found at Sabiib; subtle yet aromatic, flavourful without overpowering. The use of fresh bananas alongside the chutneys, rice, and meat in their dishes was unlike anything I had ever tried before. It was a delightful revelation and somehow worked (!)Alongside the food, staff are equally important and here they lived up to the standards raised by the food. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable.

It's pretty busy and quite noisy (the acoustics are not great) but the atmosphere is friendly and so are the servers. The food was tasty, but it didn't come out piping hot.It was a good intro to Somali food for anyone whose not already familiar with it.

I never had Somali food before so when my friend and I saw Sabiib restaurant, we thought we’d try it.On entering, the Manager, Mohammed, greeted us and showed us to our chosen seats. As it was our first time there, he explained the menu options etc.The ambience was great. The restaurant is well decorated and there was soft traditional music in the background. Very good setting. We decided to try the platter for 2 as it had a few different options that we could try.The food and drinks came in very good time. It was all delicious. Good portion size. We even had to take away some of it.Overall, a very pleasant experience with very tasty food. I would definitely recommend.

A little gem in the heart of Acton. We went in not knowing anything about Somali food, and left wanting more! The lamb and chicken were delicious, we also got free samosa the first time we went, and they were phenomenal! Second time we tried the platter for 2, with beef and lamb, it was so huge we had to take half of it to go, but the quality was fabulous! Prices are very reasonable too.Service is always great, friendly staff and nice cozy atmosphere.Highly recommend!

I have been to Sabiib twice now, and everything has been superb, from the hosting and hospitality skills of the waiters / waitresses to the overall experience. No complaints here, the food was delicious and they are more than generous with the potions. All reasonably priced as well. The complimentary soup was a lovely starter, and perfect for a cold winter day.

We came as a party of 8 and we’re sat in a private room, the atmosphere was amazing! Very comfy and homely. The food, simply amazing. Authentic and bursting with flavour. Go full authentic and have the banana and rice!Even had wudu facilities and a prayer room.

Superb! Fabulous food especially the lamb which is slow cooked and falls off the bone. It is called Hannid or similar. The platters they serve are perfect for sharing. Also recommend the date cake for desert. The coffee is an acquired taste as it is 70% ginger and 30% coffee. Very nice staff, lovely decor. Highly highly recommended

Great restaurant which doesn’t disappoint both with the food and the environment. The inside looks great and the seats are really comfortable, there’s a really nice environment and the staff is super polite and helpful. The food is nothing short of amazing, not only in quality but also quantity, with the best thing in my opinion being the lamb. All of this for a really reasonable price.I’ll definitely coming here again, and encourage everyone passing through Acton to give it a try!
