This is a superb company which I highly recommend.I had a garage door/floor that allowed rainwater to flood the front half of the garage, making that area unusable, together with a side door that other companies were reluctant to touch as the lintel had a large space above it which was covered with wood and the actual door space was not a standard size. In addition the vehicle access door was rusty at the bottom due to sitting in rainwater for a large part of the time.This company expertly fitted a new vehicle access door, a new side door and laid a new sloping garage floor (screed) which, together, doesn’t allow water or debris to enter. I now have a beautifully dry and secure garage which also looks brand new. I am delighted with it.To top this off, the men involved communicated with each other to ensure that the job was done to the highest of standards and during that time were cheerful, polite and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

I have used D Welsh builders for over fifteen years. From Raised bedding to Garage installation, driveway and now patio replacement.As ever the professional friendly approach from initial consultation to job completion was exemplary.The preparation, installation and completion of this work was out of this world.The guys workmanship was quite frankly out of this world. (Nothing was an effort, they consulted frequently, and left the site in immaculate condition.)We chose the grey Indian sandstone...Wow. The patio is different every day. Depending on the light, the stone varies, in a magical and mysterious way.Thank you all once again, for a superb job from start to finish. I cant recommend D Welsh builders highly enough.

After a site visit from Duncan Welsh and visit to the Uplawmoor display garages. Duncan provided a detailed contract before any work was agreed.After agreeing the detail Welsh builders turned up and carried out the work to the highest standard and exactly as agreed in the contract.The reasons I chose Welsh to remove and replace my old 1970s Garage were reputation, No sub-contractors, 10% deposit full payment on completion Quality and secure doors and made in house concrete panels.Everyone I dealt with from Alice in the office, the builders to Duncan were very pleasant and professional to deal with. Highly recommended

I would not hesitate to recommend D Welsh Builders Ltd. The removed an old asbestos garage roof and disposed of the material properly and provided me with a lovely new garage roof. The men were excellent in their work and very polite and conscientious. Nice to find a good and reputable builder who also guarantee their work.

Selected this company and we were never disappointed at any level, from survey to the removal of our old garage to the digging and making a new base the work force were extremely efficient and tidy. When the rebuild began of our new garage and all installation of the inners and eventually the door and all electrics all of the staff were pleasant and very mannerly. We would Highly recommend this company, completed in a very reasonable time, we were updated on a very regular basis as to who was coming and we appreciated this very much. Thanks very much to all involved we are very pleased with the finished garage. Well worth trying this company.

Highly recommended. An official extension to our house was too expensive, so Welsh Builds converted our lean-to garage to effectively add an extra room to our house. Their workmanship was of the highest standard and they were quick, friendly and tidy. Duncan was friendly and professional from his first visit, and made sure he understood what we were wanting so he could help tailor the conversion exactly to our needs. There were no hard sells and he was honest about the pros and cons of different options. They take pride in their work and it shows.

Look no further if you are looking for a new garage/driveway/gates. From start to finish this company have been outstanding in every way. The level of workmanship is first class, communication is excellent and work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.

We had landscaping works carried out over 4 weeks by Welsh Builders in March 2017. Having previously had a garage built by this company, we did not hesitate to return to them as we had been delighted with the professional service provided and had confidence in their workmanship. We were not disappointed – Welsh’s did an excellent job, to a high standard with good quality products. They are straightforward to deal with from the initial phone call to completion of the job. They communicated with us at all stages of the job, and left the site clean and tidy each night. The men were always polite and courteous, and were exceptionally considerate when dealing with my husband who has Early Onset Dementia. This was much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend Welsh Builders, and will return to them again if we require any further works.
