Whirligig Toys Brighton

US customer here. I contacted Whirligig on a whim to purchase a puzzle and the owner not only helped me find an out of stock product (as in I have been searching for this item high and low on various EU / UK websites, Amazon, etc), but made purchasing the item online and shipping, handling, and dealing w/ exchange rates and tariffs a breeze! He went above and beyond and communication & customer service was great!

Amazing range and very friendly and helpful staff - true gem! My kid didn’t want to leave! Especially great touch is different sections like unicorns, princesses, dinos etc - so easy to navigate, but eventually purchase half of the shop :)

Lovely store with great choices of lots of baby&kids toys. The range of creative activities are amazing for kids and even babies. Also the staff is so helpful to find the best options for you.

I visited on 2 August, about 15m before closing. I was looking to buy a gift for my nephew's upcoming birthday, and after a small discussion as to his interests, Megan helped me pick out two toys; one was a Pen Control - LCD Tablet" and the other "Dinosaur Bingo"!Not only was Megan super helpful with suggestions

First time customer, buying for grandchilden. Recommended by my daughter. Mega mega choice of toys, books, crafts, puzzles, on and on, too long a list. Plus really helpful suggestions from in-shtore genious, haha. Thoroughly recommended. X

At last, a toy shop that sells proper toys and staff that love what they sell! !!Whirligig is a fabulous find that I hope to return to next time I'm in Brighton (apart from the fact it just happens to be right opposite Temptation Cafe on Gardner Street which is owned by the same person!). Peter the owner was on duty when I called in, and his enthusiasm for what he sells is infectious, as he told me he has made or played with everything in the shop.The toys are a mixture of nostalgic,crafty, fun,educational, but mostly NOT PLASTIC and not the kind of thing you will find discarded under your sofa a few weeks later, thank goodness, and the prices are competitive ranging from a few pounds to a few tens of pounds for something extra special.I highly recommend Whirligig as a great shopping experience.

The shop is one of the best I have seen when it comes to children's toys and activity sets. Service is the Brighton store is second to none. The big chain stores for toys could learn a thing from Whirligig

Such a lovely shop with a great selection of quality items. Really swift service too, I ordered online last night and the delivery turned up before lunch today! Thanks for continuing to serve during these testing times.

I love love this store! It is small but I could have stayed there for hours. It maybe doesn't look much in the beginning but when you start looking around there is a lot of great toys there. Plus the staff was really friendly and nice :)
