We’ve often bought lunch at Hector’s this year. The choice of sandwiches is really extensive and the bread very fresh with good quality generous fillings. The staff are excellent, very friendly and professional. The shop is spotlessly clean and Covid safe with staff wearing protective masks. We will definitely continue to visit!

Paid 5 pound for a Southern fried chicken bin lid. And was hardly any chicken on it. Absolute rip off. The sandwich was nice but should offer a bin lid if there not going to fill it. Ruined my lunch and I won't be returning. £5 for a salad bin lid with a hint of chicken

The roast dinner wrap is lovely and very filling! Haven’t had chance to try the sandwiches yet but I imagine they are just as good! Staff are very nice and friendly too!

Best butty shop on the Wirral. There are plenty of places close by to us, but we would rather travel to Hector's as they are by far the best. Amazing choice of fillings, everyone who works there is lovely and so friendly. Highly recommend it

I’m a Courier that travels and works all over the UK. Recently moved to Wirral and my route is in the area.I stopped by chance one morning and ordered a sausage & egg sandwich. For me breakfast is the most important meal and I have to say I’ve never had a better breakfast than I have here!!! Absolutely delicious and filling. I loved every bite. The best !!!

Absolutely the best sandwiches we have tasted, and tremendous value for money. Puts Gregg’s and all other such shops in the shade. We always pop in after visiting relatives on the Wirral and today bought two blue stilton, apple and walnut sandwiches on thick, very fresh, brown bread to eat on our journey home. The only problem is that you need two hands to eat them as they’re generously loaded with filling:-) I gather they also cater for events. Just as important as the food is the staff, and they have always been delightful. Today we were served by two very pleasant ladies.

It's OK. The lady serving seems overjoyed when the customer opts for pipers crisps rather than another brand. The salad boxes are something a nan would make in the early 90s. Other than that a decent sarnie

We tried the shop out for the first time today based on the previous reviews. Found the staff to be great, patient and helpful. The sandwiches and salads we had, for a family of four, were just fantastic in terms of size, plenty of filling, taste, lots of choices, and value. Probably the best deli I've been to in a number of years. I can't recommend it highly enough based on our experience today.

What an outstanding sandwich shop.A slice of quality in West Kirby.The range of toppings are mouthwatering, but don't worry, traditional fayre is not forgotten.I cannot recommend Hector's highly enough.Enjoy.
