Iceland Supermarket Cwmbran

First time in Iceland for about 3-4 years, and now I remember why. 1 person on a till with a queue halfway up the shop. He's buzzing someone because he's due to go home. Another person gets on the till. The first person gets off. Still a big queue. The girl that gets on the till looks like she about to cry, she is that miserable. Someone who acts like a supervisor asks another member of staff to go on a till, they refuse and say they haven't got time. The queue gets bigger. Customers start leaving their shopping and walking out. Eventually, someone gets on a till and starts serving. I finally get served by the miserable girl who has no manners at all. No please, no thank you from her at all. Nothing has changed in the last 3-4 years since I last went in there. So, I guess it will be another 3-4 years before my next visit. No wonder Iceland are closing stores if this is the way they run them. Absolute disgrace!

Some real good prices. However can i refer you to my dear old mum if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all""

Some products missing but still not bad prices

Really good fully stocked store. Tills can sometimes have a really long queue which is frustrating when your on lunch as no one seems to jump on and help.

Bulk buying items works out cheaper. Single 9 pack Crumpets £1 45 - buy 3 packs & they cost £1 each.Xmas chocolates & sweet packs on offer - purchasing 2 gives a third free

Not enough staff at the tills we were in a long queue the poor girl serving kept ringing the bell for help, but nobody came very poor.

Store stocked well, good variety. Never an easy tranaction to pay. Either not enough staff on tills, or cashiers packing and taking bags to crates for customers. )hugely contributing to queues. Only goingvto get worse!!

Disappointed that iceland are reducing their slimming world selection. Conned by buying an item in the middle of 3 for 10 that wasn't and ended up paying full price for all. Also large bag of chicken in wrong place and paying far more than I thought it was. Only 1 till open on a Saturday and no easy access customer service staff.

This store is my favourite. It is on my doorstep and all products are cheap,always well stocked but best is how brillian and kind and helpful the staff are. Normally only one till open so a quick in and out is not what happens regularly. Friendly staff though and some great prices.
