Our daughter has been with Bearfoot for a number of years for various classes and she continues to love it and she has been supported at every opportunity. The teachers have always been approachable and friendly and it feels like a family.

I am a freelance choreographer working in TV and Film and I have the pleasure of teaching guest workshops at Bearfoot over the years. It's lovely to see such happy hard-working children, trained by qualified professionals.Would recommend highly!

My children attended Bearfoot classes last year. They are 7 and 5. Although they seemed to enjoy the classes themselves (so I have 2 stars for this), I saw very little in terms of actual progress. I think for what they achieved, I paid too much money! Avoid...

I am a freelance Actress and Acting Coach and am lucky enough to get to teach the wonderful students at Bearfoot. It is a brilliant school to work for, finding a perfect balance between fun and professionalism.I would highly recommend Bearfoot for any students wanting high standards of Performing Arts training while also enjoying themselves and making lots of new friends!

My daughter started at Bearfoot at 2 years old with ballet, and a few years later, modern classes too. The teachers at Bearfoot made my daughter feel comfortable, unpressured and managed to coax a huge amount of confidence out of a child with a tendency to shyness.I couldn't believe my eyes, and was totally overwhelmed when she performed (at 7 years old) on the huge stage at Harrow Arts Centre in two numbers in the school's showcase performance this year to an audience of hundreds. She was so proud of herself and it has really sparked her joy of performing, she can't wait to perform on stage again!I really do think this has be to down to the teachers, as she has been to some dance classes before where the strictness of the teachers has turned her off of the classes completely. They seem to have the perfect combination of encouraging them to perform to their highest ability and giving them lots of support and understanding. The children are also really encouraging and kind to each other which the school obviously initiates.Definitely give this school a try if your children have any little bud of dance, song or performance in their soul, Bearfoot will help it blossom for sure.Thank you Bearfoot. x

I have been at bearfoot for 10 years and it is the most amazing place to go for friends and teachers. All the teachers are so smiley and friendly and if you struggle with something in class they are always there to help. With only doing two classes a week it is pretty amazing that over the years I have managed to do 7 exams and also performed in presentation day nearly every year and 2 big showcases. Not only have I got dance/singing/acting training at bearfoot but it has given me and everyone there the confidence we need for the real world even if you don’t want to become a dancer the people skills they teach you, you will need all your life. If you love to dance, sing or act then you should 100% join!!

My daughter joined Bearfoot in 2003 and will be leaving this year.It has been an amazing performing Arts School where each child is treated as an individual. The high level of performance was evident in their last show. The teaching standards are excellent and their commitment and support have been 100 % in helping my daughter moving on in her future career.I would highly recommend Bearfoot as a brilliant performing arts school, we will miss the teachers and classes very much.

This is a great performing arts school for anyone who wants to perform for confidence and enjoyment but also those looking to take it into their career. I spent three years there and looked forward to every lesson. The teachers are so supportive and helped me secure a place at a professional dance college, tutoring me privately in preparation for my auditions.

My little girl has been going to ballet classes with the bare foot dance school for about a year and a half. She is now nearly 4. She adores her teachers and cannot wait to go to her lessons each week. In fact she’s disappointed when there are breaks. It is perfect for her as there isn’t that strict element which most dance schools possess. I personally feel that this harsh approach often deters children when it comes to them gaining confidence in performance. I couldn’t recommend this wonderful school enough!
