Baker St Cakes - The Macaron & Cake Boutique

My first time here with my close friend for a catch-up on a rainy Friday evening, and as soon as you walk in, the outside world is forgotten.Elegant decor with a serene and warm atmosphere. The display of macarons (the lime combo was sublime) and cakes is clean lines and aesthetically pleasing- in fact the whole place was clean and beautiful.The two young members of staff (we all had a chat but forgot to exchange names!) were welcoming and professional. They kept an eye on us and took care of us perfectly throughout.Thank you, we’ll be back!

The quality at this place is out of this world! Their cakes and drinks are on a whole different level. We had a wonderful afternoon tea as a treat and it was absolutely delicious. Always spoilt for choice. Their pistachio and white chocolate drink was so tasty - no milkshake or iced drink will live up to that! We’ve known Baker St Cakes from their Leicester branch, so had to head over to the Birmingham one when we found out about it, as it’s closer for us. We’ve also had the pleasure of hiring Baker St Cakes for a birthday, and also seen and tasted their delicious cakes whilst at weddings. Everything is always out of this world and no other place lives up to their cake standards! Would highly recommend this place over and over again ❤️

First and foremost, the prices are 100% worth the quality of the products. We had a deliciously rich drink of the purple poet latte alongside the patisseries lemon coconut tart & Biscoff cupcake, arguably the best deserts and drink I've had in Birmingham. Secondly, staff are sweet and friendly. Thirdly, yes some items were unavailable from the menu during the time of visit but I don't mind as it gives me an excuse to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Cute place for coffee and dessert - not really a potential study space as other coffee shops in moseley !Came here for a drink and dessert to catch up with a friend which is the perfect environment for what its for! I noticed there was no sockets anywhere so probably wouldnt be able to study here on days its empty and there was no wifi either - coffee shops are quite popular in moseley village for studying vibes too so with quite a saturated market in moseley and lots of options, i probably would only come here for the dessert items

We had afternoon tea, the interior is beautiful and I had one of the best coffees here. The afternoon tea itself was nice, the scones were tasty but the sandwiches felt as though they had been made in advance and the bread had dried up. I also feel there should’ve been more sandwiches included, although the afternoon tea was still very filling. I need to come back to try the cakes as they looked amazing, the ones included in the afternoon tea were okay. The cheesecake was melted but everything else was nice!

Visited on a warm day for a Peach Iced Tea. Lovely interior, light snd airy. The cake snd Maroon display was stunning and inviting but it wasn’t the right time for cakes. I just wanted the Peach Iced Tea but waited and waited until I was tempted to just leave - even though I’d paid. When the Peach Iced Tea arrived it was cool and refreshing and tasted great. I would go again for leisurely cake treat!

It's definitely a good place for desserts. Decor was really nice and has a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly too.

They are also very decently priced very affordable. Not over priced like some baker shops in the area which I think was absolutely great.Cakes were also very creamy and tasty.Will definitely be returning

Would recommend as it is its own. It stands out from the same things you get in most dessert shops. They take pride in everything they deliver.The afternoon tea did not match to our high expectations. It was a fab opportunity to showcase their cakes but we really didn’t enjoy them as much as we thought. The highlight was the scones, sandwiches and pistachios Mousse cake.
