Premier Inn Sheffield (Arena) hotel

Convenient for arena but limited parking and satnav struggled to find the entrance. Rooms were usual PI type but could do with a refresh as looking a little battered in places. Staff helpful and swapped out one of our rooms with broken AC. Breakfast was ok but hot options only lukewarm and very slow toaster!

Stayed here two weekends over November . Stayed at many premier inns and im afraid this one does not rank highly .Staff are friendly , good location but Rooms smell damp , tvs and showers/ bath dont work properly and the outside needs a clean up .

Good for a short stay. Basics provided. Food was not so good expensive for what It was, battered fish and chips which was too well done and was really what we would call a child's portion in Hull. In Hull you get a fish four times larger chips and peas for £8.

We were attending an event at Don Valley Bowl, the hotel was the perfect location, just 5 mins walk away. The hotel was busy but staff were efficient and friendly. Rooms were clean. It was a warm day when we arrived and there was free water available at check in which was a nice touch!

The location of the hotel is perfect for events being held at the Don Valley Bowl. Normal check in is at 3pm but if you lay £10 you can check in at the earlier time of 11am. Breakfast is available for booking as well as an evening meal. Unfortunately they don't do lunch. The room was a double bed which was comfortable but nothing special. To say it was £152 for the one night and comparing it to a Welcome Inn which was £60, the Welcome Inn comes out better - the room was much larger the staff were far more helpful and seemed genuinely pleased to be able to assist. Here, it felt like it was a task.Coming back from an evening out, it was a struggle to get through the doors with my wheelchair. They don't hold open, no one was on reception and the queue for the bar was overflowing out through reception blocking entry - these were people off the street after a concert.Would I stay again? Maybe, just for the convenience of being so close to the Don Valley Bowl but would shop around as there were plenty of hotels close by.

Premier inn is getting worst every year. It became a place with no standard. Only good for traveling manual workers and people with no standard. I can not understand why staff allow drainage workers sit on dining chairs in their work overalls. If you don't care about terrible burnt back on and dirty chairs, Premier Inn is for you ...

Staff were super friendly and kind, room was clean and decent size. Didn't try the bar or restaurant but no complaints from me. Would recommend

Polite Staff, rooms clean but standard. Located on main road, but treble glazing on windows make rooms sound proofed. Hallway carpets need a good clean as this gives a poor first impression.

Love staying here. We could tell straight away that there is a new manager before we even checked in as outside looks lovely and its very clean. We had the pleasure of meeting Lauren who is a delight and she is very good at her job. Lauren made our stay special as we were celebrating my husbands 40th and there for a tournament. The cute little beer garden looks great and is managed well also. Water was provided in a large container in reception for guests which was nice to see as the weather as been so hot. Food was amazing. Callum and Connor looked after us also and they were lovely, polite, well spoken and nothing was too much trouble. We will see you again next year :)
