Check in was OK, went to room, noticed slight boggy smell, but opened window and thought nothing more of it. Room was clean and all good.Went back to room after dinner to sleep and smell was worse, went to sleep and had to get up in the night to open a window, minus 1 degrees outside, smell was terrible!Didn't really sleep.Looked on reviews and the same problem was reported in room 152 two weeks earlier, nothing had been done to put it right in the meantime. The room should not be used for a guest!Reported the smell in the morning when I left early. Night manager not really apologetic and didn't show too much interest. If you are allocated this room, please avoid!

Rooms are really small with minimal storage space. No private bath/shower room and no tea making facilities.Beds are comfortable though. Cellular network coverage is next to nothing and cannot be relied upon. Free wifi is readily available. This hotel is cashless. There is a food court with a huge variety offerings within walking distance

Customer service is the worst thing about this place. I tried to get someone to fix my T.V. but he didn't know what I meant and just shrugged me off. Checking out, the receptionist just reached out his hand without looking at me and grunted for me to give him my key. No Thank You or communication at all.No tea making facilities other than a communal coffee/tea machine in reception. Reception charge £2 to get a token for this machine but the machine actually states a drink is £1.40... you can only pay by card for this too which is probably the reason you're charged more. Not much storage space in the room but okay if you're on your own. Pillows rock hard. Quite a bit of dust collected on the shelf above the hanger facility. The remote control was extremely dirty and I used about 4 antibacterial wipes to get the grime out from between the buttons.Asked for my bin to be changed throughout the second day. I asked first thing in the morning so there was plenty of time for them to get to my room. This was not done.On another day, I was working in my room and the cleaners just let themselves in. I was not decent" enough for people to just walk in. This was very annoying. If they did knock I did not hear it and I really think they just let themselves in.Overall

For what we paid, it did the job. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night sleep. There were a few issues, though. Firstly, we were led to the wrong room. When I opened it, there was somebody's belongings in there! The receptionist apologised and said it was an error. The room we had was very small, and there was a musty smell emanating from the shower. Be warned, the bathroom layout is rather unique. The shower is in the bedroom and offers no privacy, which may be an issue for families or people staying with friends. We didn't use it due to the smell. The sink is also in the room, and the water pressure was variable, with the tap reducing to a dribble at times. I know it's a budget hotel, but a kettle and hairdryer would have been welcomed, and Travelodge provided both of these facilities.Overall, it wasn't bad for what we paid and in a good location next to Wetherspoons and other eateries. And I can't complain too much about the price. But in the future, we will probably go for a Travelodge.

Easy booking experience. Very warm welcome at hotel. Staff at reception gave excellent service. Basic room, but it is what it is. TV. Free WiFi. Nothing to complain about. Beds b not too comfortable, but that's selective. Cleanliness was fine. Overall pretty good.

Been here a few times now, the check-in is very quick and the rooms although small serve the purpose. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower cubicle is a little small but the water is hot, and again serves its purpose. My only complaint is the price I think is a little too high, but the location to Heathrow and London clearly dictates the cost.

There are plenty of options available for food in the service station area next door. The room was basic but clean and the bed was fine. Only issue was my key card repeatedly failed to let me enter the lift, but I was always assisted by a staff member who realised I was struggling. He replaced the key card but things didn't improve much for me, however the cards worked fine for my room and overall it didn't cause me too much disruption.

Clean, simple room.Missing batteries from TV remote, and TV in room didn't get any signal once plugged in and remote batteries replaced. Soap bottle near main sink was broken and wouldn't work. Light in toilet was motion sensitive so kept turning off while taking a number 2 hahaNoises from pipes during early morning and late night made it difficult to sleep on one of the nights.Staff were polite and great.Very good price for a shorter stay with lots of food options available from Beaconsfield Services, but would not recommend for too long a stay

We chose Ibis Beaconfield because the hotel we'd normally stay at in Gerrard's cross now charges prices that have gone through the roof. We were very happy with our decision to change: room impeccably clean and very functional and, most importantly, bed really comfortable. Also, it was so convenient for our return to Manchester the next day.
