Our experience started in September 2020. Quote received and deposit paid then nothing. All communication made by us, no attempt to start or commit to a date to start. Avoided messages and never made any contact with us, always us trying to find out what was going on.One CCJ later and the majority of our deposit being withheld we are still no further to getting our money back.Every excuse will be used by this man and he will constantly play the victim. He even had the nerve to say we didn’t need the money due to the nature of our employment.Avoid Duncan Miller at all costs and save yourself a whole load of stress.Zero business accruement and not to be trusted.I’m only disappointed in myself for not leaving this review earlier and hope that karma will come around and intervene with whatever he’s planning by ‘temporarily closing’ his business.Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.*** Update ***Speechless. We’d just like our money back.28/4 Tried a few times to contact, assume our numbers are blocked. No response to WhatsApp message. Want to retrieve the £485 owed but no way of contacting.Messaged on the 12/6 and 22/6 and had no reply. Called 17/7 and he said we’d get something soon but couldn’t be more specific.27/7 spotted him working in the local area, asked if we were getting some money. Shrugged shoulders, no response.

Sadly never responded. After taking deposit communication was sparingly, item ordered was never received nor did I get deposit back.

Avoid avoid avoid,Similar to the last review, happy to take your deposit and then happy to take more money for materials, but then 9 months after promising to install we are left out of pocket and without the alcove cupboards we wanted. Following a promising start with a design and render of the room and a proposed start date we then had every excuse under the sun as to why the start was delayed. You could accommodate this but it was made worse by a complete lack of communication, avoiding calls and replies and flitting between email, text and WhatsApp. The final straw was agreeing a final date, making arrangements at home to have it done for him to simply not turn up, contact or make excuses. Instead actively avoided my calls - now trying to avoid a refund. Save yourself the heartache and choose someone else. Thoroughly unprofessional.In response:The offer made after months of empty promises and excuses and because I called you from another phone number, is to go and find another tradesperson to install his incomplete job - I don't think so.
