I had been trying to raise property finance to start my start-up business - Caribfoods Ltd. A mutual friend introduced me to Sam Sturdy of Central Business Finance. I telephoned Sam to explore how she could possibly help. Instantly she built a rapport with me as she listened to my business plans. Once she had read my Business Plan, she spoke frankly about its structure and the options available to me, taking into account my circumstances. Nothing was a barrier, Sam has the mindset of 'how can we support your business.' Always solution orientated and proactive. If she set a target or deadline it was always met. If the funder required more information she worked with me to find the right approach. I had identified 3 separate premises but for various reasons they fell through but Sam continued to encourage me until everything aligned.
