Tesco Extra

Lovely big store. Has lots of different departments. Whenever I've visited, it's always been clean and well presented. Large clothing department. Definitely one of the better tescos in the area.

Store generally good for what I need. Visited store on 8/7/23 between 11 & 11.30am, as usual so many click & collect trolleys ramming into you while shopping or blocking aisles. On this occasion had 2 C&C workers parked in front of eggs blocking me from getting to them as they had double parked there trolley, whilst they were slagging off customers who were chatting in the aisles (ironic really when they were doing the same) and that they want to go on till from now on, After a wait I said excuse me but still didn't want to move 9so I leaned over to get some eggs and got an eye roll from one of them (sorry don't have all day to wait). I know one of them was called Sandra, had glasses and short dark hair.

Used to enjoy eating here. New McDonalds ordering system ! Worst thing ever. Place has lost its personal touch. Might as well go to a McDonald's same atmosphere. Bring back personal touch. Till then local cafes can have my service and money.

Good.Great product choice, wide aisles, friendly staff and a nice large car park.Can be busy most days but Saturday is manic.Best if you can to shop in the evening, less people about and price reductions on a lot of produce.

I visited the café today as I had 30 minutes to spare before needing to leave to collect my daughter from school. The café was LESS than 25% occupied (with several of the tables only having one occupant) and about half of these appeared to only be having drinks, from what I could see. I placed my order at the terminal (no human contact and they've removed the ability to use cash to pay), at 14:39. I only ordered smashed avocado on toast with eggs. I sat there and watched as about 5 other tables received their food (2 tables being occupied by Tesco staff) and half a dozen hot drink orders to same and other tables. My smashed avocado on toast arrived at 15:04 (25 minutes after ordering).

This is a huge store just outside Newmarket nr A14. Superbly stocked, not just food. Cafe, free parking and fuel garage. Good Service, plenty of checkouts. Perhaps just too big for a small shop or just bits n bobs.

Excellent place to shop maybe have a break too, always has everything I need, staff very friendly and helpful so no problems anywhere, gladly go to anytime x

I have never been so abused in my life I attended tesco express newmarket pharmacy with my wife and child. my wife attempted to purchase over the counter medication when we was rudely told to wait till the pharmacist came out so we waited for 15 minutes as the other colleague serves another customer I asked what was the issue and I was met with verbal abuse, aggressive behaviour towards myself and I felt intimidated for no reason I was very confused my wife attempted to inform the pharmacist of this bad customer service when she eventually come to serve my wife she was very aggressive and abusive and told my wife out right she was wrong her colleague was not behaving in an unprofessional manner she then went on to verbaly attack myself infront of my child I was shocked as I wasn't the one being served I was minding my own business with my child. I then informed the pharmacist of my physical and mental disabilities again and that her behaviour towards myself was causing me to be allarmed and seriously distressed I asked her to stop but she just got louder and then played victim claiming I was makeing her feel intimidated but again I informed her I was not even in this conversation or transaction clearly she was trying to play victim to miss direct her direcly discriminateing against myself I have been treated twice now at this store like this and raised 2 complaint only to be given the impression my complaints are not taken seriousely I can not beleve a company as big as tesco condonse staff makeing fun of disabled and then being aggressive towards them and refusing the sale of much needed medication I will not be attending this store again I won't be laughed and made fun of becouse I have ptsd aswell as a physical deformity

Disabled buggy helped my mum hugely. Put a smile on her face being able to shop . Thanks Tesco. You made a difference

Always good for a quick stop or a Large shop. Great facilities on site. Helpful and friendly staff.
