Beacon VetCare Newquay

Absolutely lovely practice and people! Would 100% recommend, we had our cats nuts done and we are on their pet plan. Was super fast, our boy was very well looked after and even got a little photo shoot for their Facebook. Even got a tour of the place by the lady who saw to him! Incredible practice unlike any vet i have been too! (He’s already back to full chaos mode a couple hours later)

I wish I had found Beacon earlier. I was just down the road at Penmellyn for 2 years, and had a lot of concerns about the welfare of my elderly dog (15 yrs old). I wanted someone to talk to me honestly about his quality of life and be compassionate about what might be the best course of action for such an old boy. Penmellyn did not deliver that.I finally tried out Beacon and it was a world of difference. Lizzie spoke to me honestly and with understanding, and she was wonderful with my boy. It was right at the end of his life but Harvey finally got the consultation he needed and deserved.When it came to putting Harvey to sleep, Beacon made what could have been such a traumatic experience, a calm, respectful, peaceful and beautiful one. They made his last moments so comfortable and relaxed that he genuinely was happy at the end. I never imagined it could be like that, and I'm eternally grateful.I'm a convert and will stay with Beacon now for all future pet care, and I'm telling everyone I know to join.

I cannot speak more highly of the Newquay Branch of Beacon Vet Care. Full of professionalism, kindness, caring and compassion of my 20 plus year old cat. The whole team, from reception staff to the actual Vets themselves were ALL first rate. Thank you so very much.

I couldn’t thank Beacon Vet Care enough, as soon as I walked through the door the staff were kind, caring and extremely helpful.The nurses couldn’t have done enough, my dog had to stay the night for extra care (something he has never done before) but I honestly felt so at ease and reassured that he would be loved and cared for as if he was at home.When we needed to return for a check up, the staff had only previously met Sonny once before, however it was like he was part of the crew and as if they had known him for years- that for me is special.This place is truly wonderful and I feel so lucky to have my pets registered here.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart you are all amazing!

Visited today for the first time with our puppy who was sick and I was worried about him. Phoned at 8.30 sat morning and they managed to squeeze us in at 8.45. Saw Luke who was brilliant in all ways, went away with some meds and advice and felt very happy with the service provided. Ladies on reception were great too in looking up his microchip. We are now registered and took advantage of the great welcome offers they have :) thank you so much. Emily

We recently moved our dogs to Beacon Vetcare and we couldn't be happier. The practice just feels like the perfect balance of being super personal, but with the experience and facilities you would expect and hope for at a state of the art practice. I'm so pleased we heard about Beacon and made the move!We initially had our free welcome consultation, practice tour and annual vaccines and we were really happy with what we saw. We have seen vets Dani and Luke who are very knowledgeable and caring. The reception staff have been very warm and welcoming and the nurses we met on our tour were very loving towards our pups.Yesterday we brought our dog in because of some lumps that were worrying us. Luke was amazing and gave us so much of his time to thoroughly check Pebbles over, at no point making us feel rushed. He took multiple samples and called us back with the results within an hour of our appointment. While we were there we managed to book an appointment to get our other dog's ear checked, and again swabs were taken with almost immediate results. We cannot recommend them enough.I would never chose a vets based on price as we always just want the best care for our dogs. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the cost of the tests done yesterday (made cheaper with our 20% off thanks to our annual plan). Also the emergency vet fees we have been told seem very reasonably priced (thankfully we haven't used it yet).

Jade, Colin and the team have looked after Loki so well. They work seamlessly alongside our vet and also look after the owner as well as the dog, which is lovely. I’m sure I’m not the only owner who wonders if I’m doing everything right and the aftercare, support, and reassurance from the team have really made a difference.

I took my two dogs for a look around and to ask questions about the practice and vetcare. We were made so very welcome, especially by Rachael and Wendy and all my questions were answered fully. We had a tour of the practice and every staff member took time to welcome us.Fast forward to later that day and we were back for a check with Luke the vet. Again, everyone was super helpful and welcoming.I’m happy to be a part of an independent practice on my doorstep and am confident that my girls will receive the very best of care.

Fantastic new practice. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The vet I saw (Luke) was really helpful and extremely thorough, he really explained things to help me fully understand my dogs condition.The prices are fantastic too, about time Newquay has a great Vets at affordable prices.I could not recommend this practice highly enough, we’re very happy with our new vets!Mel and Paco
