Tim Earl was recommended to both my husband and I and we are so pleased he was! I am usually full off trepidation before any dental work but Tim is not only skilled at putting his patients at ease, but I also appreciated the very clear treatment and payment plan that was outlined at the outset. Tim has a holistic approach, which aims to provide total and good, long-term oral care. I have just finished my treatment and could not be more delighted with the results. The service and care from Tim and his staff team made for an anxiety-free experience from start to finish; and I would happily pass on the recommendation baton - if you want excellent, great quality dental care, go see Tim. Best Dental Practice, by miles, that I have ever visited. I have historically been very nervous visiting the dentist but Tim Earl and his team are really friendly, chatty, welcoming and have totally won me over and put me at my ease every time I visit. I have been a patient at The Lodge for two and a half years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Tim is a highly qualified dentist and is just brilliant at communicating with patients and has been able to reassure me and made my dental treatment much less stressful. Tim has been my family dentist for about 20 years. During this time, he has always looked after my teeth with care and precision. Like many, I have dental anxieties, but I have every confidence in Tim, the team and the treatments on offer. I would not go anywhere else. I’ve been fortunate to know two great dentists in my life and Tim is one of those dentists. I’ve also had the misfortune to have been treated by really bad dentists (bodged fillings, agonising injections). However, only by experiencing the ‘bad’ do I know what ‘excellent’ looks like. That’s why I can confidently and wholeheartedly endorse Tim with a five star review as a dentist who cares deeply about his patients and really doesn’t stop until he’s put his patients’ teeth in excellent order. I’m not the most relaxed of patients but here’s what puts me at ease in Tim’s dental chair: injections never hurt, fillings are painless, and issues will be spotted that have been overlooked by other dentists for years. I genuinely trust Tim to do what he feels is right for me. I just know that my teeth are quite literally in the best hands possible – not just Tim’s but also those of the practice’s hygienist, Laura. The benefit of registering with an excellent dental practice is not so much about the routine dental check up’s .. but when tooth ache strikes, there is an immediate emergency appointment made for you, swiftly followed by speedy & professional treatment & you leave the surgery pain free!I highly recommend The Lodge practice in Uckfield. I came to The Lodge dental practice recently because I had a problem tooth and wanted an x-ray. Ian Goldsmith took me on as an emergency patient and duly x-rayed my right side of my mouth and found damage which needed attention! After consultation Ian was concerned that he could not help me due to me needing specialised dental care with possible resus equipment. I informed him that I had treatment at Guys hospital in the past and he very kindly contacted them and through a referral is arranging treatment. Ian was very kind and went above and beyond what was expected. Thanks to him and his team for listening and caring about my situation.

I have recently completed some extensive dental work at this practice. Tim has totally cured me of my initial dental phobia with his calm manner and gentle and professional approach. I quickly put my faith in him as a brilliant dentist and was not disappointed. I am totally thrilled with the quality of work carried out and all without any pain. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

I moved to The Lodge about 2 years ago from another local private dentist. At that time, I could barely open my mouth outside as my teeth were so sensitive, and I found myself not smiling because of the colour of my teeth and a very dodgy crown at the front. I am delighted to say that I can't keep the smile off my face now. Tim started off by sorting out my sensitivity issues, then repairing and replacing some bad fillings, one requiring a root canal treatment. We then embarked on teeth whitening, before replacing my front crown for one that actually fits and is an amazing colour match. (Big thanks also to the team down in Hove who did a fantastic job matching the colour!) Like many people I have always been afraid of the dentist - this is no longer the case. I feel completely comfortable going to the dentist as I know that Tim would never do anything that wasn't required, and, believe it or not - he doesn't hurt! I cannot thank Tim and his wonderful team enough for giving me the confidence to smile once again!

Tim is the most fabulous dentist ever! He has integrity and great talent - meaning he won’t tell you that you need loads of treatments that’s not actually required. I’m in my 50’s and have never had a great dental experience and so it has be hugely refreshing to have experienced Tim’s expertise and kind and gentle approach. The best thing is that Tim has been able to give me the best teeth smile I’ve had for years. I could not be more delighted. Thanks Tim and everyone - all staff are lovely there!
