We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Bruce Nicholson and his daughter Josephine for some major works in York. To say it was disastrous would be an understatement. Their work ethic is an incredible slow one, they commit to works that they are not qualified to perform and worse, they introduce all sorts of regulation to delay their time on site. Each week they demanded progress payments although on some days no-one was on-site and often the works had not progressed from one week to the next. The final straw for us was finding their foreperson, Josephine intoxicated on-site, we immediately issued a cease notice and sadly, the matter has had to be referred to Solicitors for legal action to recover monies paid for works not completed. I cannot stress enough that this company should be avoided, they are certainly not a company that I can imagine anyone gaining a good experience from.
