I went to Aimee McIvor for CBT for Health Anxiety over a period of weeks and found the sessions extremely useful.Aimee's kind and thoughtful demeanour created a very comfortable environment to talk about the issues I was experiencing, exploring the possible causes and effects, and most importantly how to manage them going forward.Throughout the sessions, Aimee was consistently able to hear me out about my issues, and explain clearly and thoroughly what I was experiencing.Additionally, she provided great examples from personal experience, which was useful in making me feel like I wasn't the only person to have gone through these feelings. As well as this, she provided lots of supporting materials and exercises, which I have using since our sessions to help me manage and defuse my anxiety when I feel it rising again.Finally, Aimee was incredibly supportive throughout and always seemed happy to see my progress, and I always enjoyed my sessions with her. I can't advocate her enough for anyone who might be going through something similar.

My daughter attended habit reversal therapy for Tourette’s and tics. This was highly beneficial with effective strategies explained and easily understood by a teenager. I would highly recommend Kevin as he quickly built up a rapport, understood the support required, provided explanations and we took so much away as a family from each session, with strategies to use, trial and discuss at next visit. Three session was suffice but we will have no hesitation returning should our daughter need further support. Our daughter better understands Tourette’s as a result of the sessions and this has given her the confidence to take more control, before, during and after, and predict situations where support strategies might be required.
