Would it not be more sensible for the health authority to employ meal time assistants in hospitals to assist the elderly to feed. That would enable The nursing staff to carry out their nursing duties that they have trained for many years. Creating more part time jobs, There are enough able body pensioners who would appreciate a part time job. Parents of school children who have a few hours to spare at lunch time. People on benefit who would like a part time job to enable them to eventually come off benefits.Julie Kenna
