Misleading in price - booked room for £55, after booking was then told there was a £60 deposit to be paid before arrival/on day of booking otherwise room would be resold. No mention of this before paying/booking (none refundable room) so your trapped, cough up more than booking fee or loose full amount.1 shared bathroom- not clear on advert that it is just one bathroom that everyone will be using, up to 10 people, noisy creaky floorboards with everyone going back and fourth all night.Late access- earliest check in 4pm.Parking- residential area with restrictions. Was unable to park outside property even though I arrived at the earliest check in time. Had difficulty finding a parking space.Poor communication- only told after booking, access is via self check-in and your pin code will be sent by email on the day. Even though I agreed arrival time of 4pm with host prior and emailed half an hour before arrival, no pin code was sent. After a 6 hour travel down was then stood around for almost an hour outside, desperately calling/texting/emailing to get access. When I finally got through stressed and tired, was offered no explanation/apology.Not a B&B as advertised, room only- Although booking bed and BREAKFAST there was no English or continental, a single bottle of unidentified cereal was the only option with no milk.Unclean- Iooks clean on the surface. know the price is affordable but that doesn't mean you should accept dirty stains on the pillow cases and the mattress was soiled under the sheet.

Very clean, comfortable & easy self check in. Great communal kitchen with complimentary cereals, biscuits, tea & coffee. Shower & toilet spotless. Easy walk from railway station & not far to cruise terminal.Needed to contact host who answered our query & also recommended local restaurant which was excellent! Thank you Luke, will definitely use again.

I’ve been living in the UK as a foreign student more than 5 years and he is the BEST landlord I’ve ever met. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Safe neighbourhood, close to the city centre. Room is spacious. Kitchen and bathroom are sanitary. Highly recommended!

Lovely clean beautiful house. Beds very comfortable, access to all necessary essentials e.g tea and coffee. Spotless bathroom and bedrooms in fact the whole house was perfect. We will definitely be booking in the future. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Literally couldn’t fault it!Beautiful hot rain head shower , lovely kitchen with tea coffee and breakfast cereal and busicuits too!The room was lovely with a big tv with free view and though about design , bed was so comfy ! Main thing.Close to lovely pub and foodWill DEFINITELY stay again!

Very happy with this room. Very clean and tidy thought out the whole house. A very welcoming homely feel. Nice temperatures (not too hot, not too cold). Easy access to the kitchen and bathroom. Local to pubs and restaurants. Easy to access front door. Lots of natural lighting. Beautiful decor. Not too loud. The rooms are all lockable and the email that gets sent gives lots of information regarding what’s local and where everything is located in the property. Very comfy beds. Overall 10 star review! Will definitely be looking at staying here again! The bedroom comes with a Tv as well as the Tv in the lounge. The safety in this property is very calming. There are indoor cameras in the walkways and kitchen (not in the bedrooms!) which is a nice accessory to make you feel safer during your stay.

First off, communication to the property is poor. The £60 deposit isn't mentioned in any way until we booked and it was asked for or the booking would be cancelled, as the booking cannot be refunded, we had no choice but to pay.We messaged on route about 30mins away for the key code, we had to message/ring several times and numbers before this was given too us and we had to wait around (granted in a pub) until we managed to get in.Facilities and Phil were a plus, clean house, bed etc etc. However, we have been chasing a deposit refund since, we have now been ignored and have had to raise a case with booking.com, it's a refundable" damage deposit but we have had no communication or explaining of why we have not received this deposit

What more can I bar thank you. 2 weeks ago our son was transported to Southampton ICU from Worthing and without Luke and his clear communication and support during the most stressful period of our lives to date would have been so much worse.The rooms are clean the bedding fresh and the facilities well maintained. Everything that is offered is available and easy to use and when it came to extending stays and discussing family members arriving ect he was brilliant.I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a short or long stay.Gareth

Luke was extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful when assisting me with re booking. The property was beautifully presented, clean and spacious rooms. Lounge area was comfortable and clean, kitchen was well equiped, tea, coffee and biscuits were available. Was a lovely stay, would definitely return to the property if needed to stay in Southampton
