FAST FIX

Charged my wife 30 euro for a battery replacement on a cheap watch. Must be at least twice the price of anywhere else. If that wasn't bad enough the back has small scratches and scuffs where they tried to pry it apart. Absolutely amateurs!!!! AvoidI felt I needed to respond to your rather curt response, seems to be a recoccuring theme from you. Never assume anything, my wife was asked was the watch used in the shower or for swimming and she replied NO!!! I would not intentionally damage ANY business Irish or otherwise. I do intend to let prospective customers know if they could get better value/service elsewhere. Over charging seems to be a theme amongst your previous customers. Your business has an average rating of 3 stars based on 19 reviews - are all those customers incorrect?P.S. I find it quite remarkable that you haven't had a review in over a month and just this morning you have managed five 5 star reviews in a two hour window. What are the chances?Have a nice day.

Having gone here a couple of times I’ve always found the staff to be quite off hand in their manner, both in person & over thee phone. One day I happened to be there when the manager was there and he was nice & very professional. I had a ring fixed a couple of years ago & it was done perfectly so overall 3/5. But I do think that there could be a morale issue with staff.

Watch was starting and stopping every so often (sign of a bad battery). Brought watch in for a new battery, about two minutes and €15 later watch seemed good. After about an hour it stopped working again. They never even changed the battery!Not to mention they scratched the back up trying to open it.

Really wished I had of read there terrible reviews before I went near them. Had caught my engagement ring and bent it up and in went to fast fix to get it fixed that was fine. On been handed my ring looked fine went on my finger and that was ok. Now 3 weeks later noticed 3 small clusters missing went back to be met with an awful man named Micheal telling me that it was caused by me and it is bashed in I have uploaded picture of my ring is certainly not bashed in and then told me that when they gave me my ring it was fine , nothing happened my ring other then clearly a jeweller causing damage when tried to fix it and loosened it. When I said can it be fixed he said yes taking no responsibility but that it would be a few days before I get a call for even an estimate,,(maybe take the fast out of your name )l took my ring back because never mind the damage already done but additude of this man was appalling told me he wouldn't deal with me to ring the owner who told me when I did call I'm not working today and hung up the phone. Says it all really. Anyway isn't this what solicitors are for.

Brought a watch in for them to replace a battery. Seem like nice people. Opted for the €20 battery for 5 years instead of €13 for a year. Brought the watch home only to find its not working and am now faced with returning it and going through the process again. To be honest I ain't going to bother going back having read the reviews on here. If they cant put a battery into a watch with out it needing to be returned they'll not get my custom again. Full stop.Nial the watch was placed into a bag and handed to me by a member of staff. I never checked wether or not it was working till I handed it to my wife who noticed it. I don't mean to be rude but did you check it ?? Either way I am not trying to harm any Irish business selling foreign batteries and don't care for your suggestion that I am. I am merely offering a review of your business based on my experience which was poor. I'm sorry the review was not to the standards which perhaps you expect. Believe me had the watch worked I should have given you a 5 star review. My poor experience of your business cost me 20 euro a small amount I grant you. Whereas your business benefited to the tune of 20 euro from my custom. Irish or otherwise. I shall not amend my review nor shall I return as a customer. Good day to you sir.

I took my engagement ring in there to get resized. My ring was 5 1/2 sizes too big. Not only does it fit perfectly it look better than the day I was proposed to! 10/10 will bring all my jewelry here. They were helpful at the counter to get it perfect. They explained the cost. It was very reasonably priced resize and they did it in 6 days! Amazing service!

Quoted e23 for watch battery or e30 for 5 year battery so opted for the 5 year battery and told them it does not have to be waterproofed .On return was told I was quoted wrong price it should be 40 for 1 year battery but would give me 1 year for 30 I argued that they cannot do this as price was agreed. The manager was rude and would not budge,this seems to happen a lot with this shop but they won't con me againKeep away from them

Quoted €15 for a battery, fair enough, their skill and labour in changing the battery is something I don’t have but then the prize part - it’s €23 if you want an already water resistant watch back the way you gave it to us! Basically, pay us extra or we’ll give you back your watch in a lesser condition than it was when you gave it to us! Comical.

Went in there Yest 5th of feb 2022 to get a new battery in my Diesel watch. I was advised €23 for a 1 year Battery or €30 for a 5 year guaranteed watch. Firstly thats really expensive. I opted fir the 5 year option for the sake of €7 more. Then the lady explained that if it was a water resistent watch then it would be an xtra €20 to make sure its resealed. So it was now €50 for a battery for a watch that cost €100. Needless to say i took the watch back. Went downstairs to the Jewellers on the Ground level where they replaced the battery for €10

I made a panic call to Fastfix on the square looking for same day engraving for a present....Julie told me to head straight there....got the engraving done within an hour....can't thank Niall enough for the best service... and the engraving was outstanding....thank you so much!
