Parkdean Resorts Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth

We stayed here for a weekend music festival accomodation and 3 days of live bands.Easy check in and easy to find our caravan. Caravans were very good comfortable plenty of creatures comforts. Good central heating for a November stay.Service throughout the weekend was very good team very friendly and helpful.We ate in a couple of the restaurants and food was pretty good for this type of venueDidn't use any of the other in house facilities as the weekend was all about the 2 stages where live music was provided.Looked like a lovely place for families to have a good holiday

We stayed in their top price 'lodge' though it was called a lodge it was a static van, though a very nice one. It had loads of room and a veranda. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was very clean and fresh.The kitchen was quite well stocked though it would have been useful to have some tongs.We used the swimming complex every day. It has a water slide, a 'lazy river' and an area for little ones as well as an out door area. ( best to book this in advance as it does get very busy) The pool area was well staffed. We enjoyed the inflatable party, though it was disappointing that it only lasted half an hour.We never saw anyone cleaning the changing room area, or hosing anything down, at times it smelt of urine. The showers near the pool were very poor, with very clogged shower heads, with little or no output. Most people just covered themselves up and went back to shower and change in their accommodation.We did go to the clubhouse for bingo and other entertainment but didn't stay long, as we preferred staying in our lodge. Lots of people have said that it has gone down hill since being taken over by Park Dean but we cannot compare it to before as we don't have that experience.Overall we really like the location and will be going back because of that reason.
