Ardlui Hotel
Had lunch at the Ardlui Hotel today. Fantastic Customer Experience from calling up a couple of hours before to book, through awesome welcome and service throughout drinks/meal.The food was fantastic, attention to detail great and will definitely return.We arrived by boat and parked on the jetty, it's so great to find a business that actually cares about boaters and embraces our business, welcomes and gives proper hospitality service.

The lodge and its location where beautiful. The lodge was lovely and warm and contained most essentials needed for the stay. Bedrooms where spacious and each guest (4) had plenty of towels . Mark a worker from the adjoining marina was very helpful as we had zero contact with any staff from our own complex.Absolutely zero communication or hospitality with staff at the lodge . No instructions for getting the key to the lodge or getting into the complex through the main gate and no check in. No welcome book with information for use of appliances, wifi codes or more importantly emergency contact details. No water including in the toilets on the first day which was sorted by the afternoon by Mark from the adjoining Marina but had no curtesy call from the hotel staff to check the issue had been solved . The DVD player had no wires and looked as though it had never been dusted along with the stand and there where 2 batteries for 3 remotes and only one of which worked. A sanitary pad was found in the jets of the hot tub filter which definately put everyone off going in. Cobwebs on every ceiling and sauna very temptemental . Electric fire heater wouldn't work.Id like to especially mention an extremely rude member of staff (Gwen) who tried to encourage us to cancel our booking through her complete lack of understanding of booking com and their difference in price. She is most defiantly not suited to a customer service role , her attitude stinks & she couldn't of cared any less about sorting our query.

Ardlui Hotel
Lovely spot to unwind after hiking along the West Highland Way. Beautiful location with views of Loch Lomond. Bonus points for having a jacuzzi tub!Downsides to be aware of:- Rooms do not have air conditioning, which even in May felt warm.- You need to take a ferry boat across the lake to get to/from the WHW. The latest ferry to cross over to the hotel side leaves the trail at 7:10 PM, so better watch your timing for the day! (In. our case, we were delayed as a result of a minor injury, and ended up having to take a very expensive taxi ride all around the lake to get to the hotel as walking was not feasible).

This hotel is AMAZING!!! We came in from a day on the West Highland Way and we were welcomed with friendly smiles. Our room wasn’t ready which we were more than happy with as we were hungry. The restaurant was warm and cozy with a beautiful view of the mountains. Plus, the food was phenomenal. The best part were the warm towels that were waiting for us when we got into our rooms. Just an amazing stay! Highly recommend!

We stopped there to stretch my legs before driving back home. There is a very nice bar and restaurant. I've ordered a portion of chips and a pint of beer. Go to the beer garden if it's not raining, you will love it.

Ardlui Hotel
We took a cabin which was extremely small. Bedsheets not included but they were nice enough to give us some free of charge.There is nothing to do in the area at all, except for going to the hotel pub. The restaurant is not available for cabin dwellers.Shared showers were ok.The ferry from the trekking route (sent by the hotel) was late so we got stuck in the rain, and they charged us 5 pounds per person.The staff was pretty nice and helpful though.My guess is the actual hotel guests had a much better experience.

Ardlui Hotel
A pride myself in being a connesouir of pubs, and this one is near the top of my all-time list. With its great bar, cozy window seating, pool table, jukebox, and friendly vibe, it's the type of place that you don't want leave. Dining in the restaurant was also very nice. The hotel rooms are very well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, with lots of choices for vegetarians and carnivors alike. Overall, a fantastic experience that we hope to experience again sometime.

We only stopped here on the way through, and I’m not sure I’d want to stay for too long, but it was an amazing location. Straight off the main road, but still quiet at night.We paid the extra to be loch side, which was well worth the money.

The cabin/bothy/pod was an awful night sleep and located beside caravans of people with unsupervised kids driving a kart around almost hitting people and dogs in the dark and kicking footballs off cars. Stunk of weed at night and people talking/making loud noises outside well into the night. Couldn't wait to get away in the morning

Ardlui Hotel
Just visited the hotel to have a Bar meal with my family. Not only were we welcomed with a smile the staff are amazing nothing to much trouble. Food excellent and good value I would highly recommend. We visited by boat while on holiday if you are in the area make sure you pop in and visit you won’t be disappointed.
