If you're looking for a dental practice in Southampton I would 100% recommend coming here! I don't usually write reviews but feel like people should know what to expect when they come here.I have been coming here since 2013 and in that time I have seen some change in staff, for the better I would say! The Practice Manager and Receptionist are more than happy to help with any query you may have! You can always get through on the phone when you call up too! The Receptionist try their best to offer you an appointment time that's suitable to you but as you can imagine with anything NHS it's very busy! - but I've never not been able to be seen when needed! The Dentist that I see is very pleasant and explains in detail what it is exactly that you are planning to have done and doesn't leave you in the dark about anything and doesn't push you into any treatment that you're unsure of! The Dental Nurse that usually works with my Dentist is very friendly and reassuring - both making sure I'm as comfortable as can be throughout. I have friends and family that come to this Dental Practice aswell and they too agree with how wonderful the Practice has become.. The Dentists that work there have been there quite a while so you don't have the worry of seeing a different Dentist every check up!They have had a make over of the Practice recently which makes it feel much more welcoming, especially as most people don't particularly enjoy coming to the dentist!All in all a very pleasant experience from start to finish and I will be recommending this Practice to anyone that asks for a Dentist in the area!

Haven't been to this dentist for two years because of the dentist cancelling my appointment last minute 3 times in a row!Covid then hit and only taking emergency appointments during pandemic totally understandble, however now try to book an appointment to be told taking off the books and now have to wait till January 2023!

I had a first class experience at this dentist this morning. It was my first check up in years and was apprehensive before hand. The receptionist was pleasant and polite as was the dental assistant. The dentist himself was very friendly and introduced himself. He asked if I had any concerns specifically about my teeth and proceeded with the check up. Everything was explained along the way and he even talked me through what could be seen on the X-Rays taken. Time was taken to ensure I understood pricing structure for future work and that I was happy to book that in. A real pride is clearly taken in patient value and experience. It’s safe to say I will be going back for more treatment with trust and confidence!

Absolutely appalling service that my elderly mother received from this practice. She had to return several times as she was in excruciating pain. The first dentist that she saw failed to take an xray of her mouth and missed a hole in one of her teeth that needed to be filled. When she returned in pain a second time, a different dentist took an xray and discovered the hole. She also recommended that my mother return to have a tooth at the back removed. She booked an appointment for her and told her that if she wanted to change dentist (we had no confidence in the first one) she must write a letter to that effect.My father wrote the letter asking to be transferred and they arrived for her appointment.On arrival, my mother was told that she couldn't be found on their database and that what's more the dentist she had the appointment with didn't work on that day of the week.I find this totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. Clearly, they decided to remove her without telling her. On top of this my mother had fallen earlier that week and had bruising on her face and stitches on her head when she attended all of the earlier appointments. To treat an elderly patient like this is disgusting. My advice is to stay well away from this awful dental surgery.

Have been coming here on and off since I was 7, I didn't go to a dentist for nearly 10 years due to one Dentist at this site who has now left. Over the last several years I have returned and had numerious dentist that seem to change yearly with varring dagrees of care. My last appointemt was cancelled due to the Dentist going on holiday so I rebooked taking a day off work only to arrive at 08.45 to be told the dentist had called in sick. I asked if I could see another Dentist as I was there to be told I would have to rebook with my own Dentist.I've only stayed here because it close-ish and convienet to park.Time to reconsider.

I am very pleased to have found Lordshill Dental Practice. Dr Huarte is a very talented dentist and the office as a whole is efficient and very pleasant. I cannot recommend them enough!

The elder receptionist is completely rude. She should never work in a costumer service position as she treats the patients so badly. I’m horrified by her attitude. Still can’t decide if she always treated me like that because I’m a foreign, but it should never happen at all!

Best dental practice I had experienced so far. Dentist was knowledgeable and despite tight deadlines they were able to treat me in timely manner. Thank you so much LDP.
