I'd just moved house and needed all the locks changing. Gary was honest and upfront in the different price options there were and how long it would take. He arrived when he said he would the next day, did the job well and gave me some extra keys. One happy customer!

I consider myself to be a good DIYer as in the past I have fixed plumbing and household electrics with ease. When the balcony door jammed in my sisters flat I had a quick look on youtube about drilling locks and off I went to tool station for some cobalt bits.After about 2 hours of drilling the lock with the drill going flat twice and breaking 4 drill bits from the new pack of 6 I bought earlier, it was time for a re-think. It was not a good idea to break a lock on my own so I needed to call a professional as the door was still not opening.I explained my embarrassing situation to Gary and he reassured me with his experience of rescuing people when their novice locksmith skills get the better of them.The appointment for mid day was confirmed via text, Gary was on time and had a range of tools to get the job done.It took 15 minutes to unlock the door and I was shown how to fit the new euro cylinder to save money on labour costs.Overall really pleased with the prompt and sympathetic service. My sister is none the wiser of what happened and sure Gary won't mind me taking full credit for fixing the lock. Will definitely use Market Locksmiths again.

Rude and unprofessional. Called up this place as we wanted to have some locks put in our bedroom door, the site offers 24 hour emergency service but the woman who answers the phone said they only work during business hours, Monday to Friday.Then I was asked to send in the photos of my doors so they can check and get back to me. More than a week later, nothing was heard. With service like this I would NOT recommend them to anyone at all there are many other options out there, support them instead.Update: Gary, you want me to get back to you but with what number or email? An no, your staff never offered to tell their names, an obvious sign of not wanting to take ownership of anything.

Garry is an amazing tradesman with a high sense of professionalism and bright sense of humour. Contacted him for a quote on a damage repair showing photographs and gave the price without surcharges on his visit. Gave me an appointment in less than an hour. Will recommend his work to those who might need it.

Made a booking on Wednesday for the engineer to come 2 days later at 12-3pm to review and place new locks.On the day, I had to call them TWICE to chase up the engineer and ask where he was as it had already passed the designated time. No apology or explanation!!Only after the second call did someone arrive at 5.10pm for an appointment between noon and 3pm! Again, NO apology or explanation! He only spent his time telling me that he could not do anything on that day, as it was so late and that these locks would each take quite some time to place!This is highly unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable!! There is a reason his job was booked for lunchtime so that it would allow him enough time to get the entire job done! But instead he spent the time explaining how he only works for another 20 mins and won't be able to fix anything! So why come at all if you're already 5 hours 10 mins late?

I can highly recommend Gary Watts. His communication was second to none, he was on time at the agreed place, and he managed to open, and replace, 2 difficult locks for us, for which we had lost keys, and the total price was very reasonable in comparison to other double-the-amount quotes. Would use him again without hesitation.
