Four of us walked round Hollingworth Lake- just under an hour at a steady pace. We booked the Riva for 5pm on our return. What a delight, we had 2 x soup starter, 1 x pate and 1 x garlic mushrooms. Followed by 4 x chicken a la crem. All topped off with 4 x chocolate brownies The dishes were amazing, especially as they were helped down with a lovely bottle of wine, didnt want either of them to end. The staff were fabulous, highly efficient and attentive and in such a warm friendly atmosphere. We ordered 4.57pm and enjoyed early bird prices of £19.99 each.Truly superb value for money, it goes without saying we're going back.

Incredible food and very friendly, helpful staff! The restaurant is just as gorgeous as the food, the whole experience was faultless and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

First time visit for me but friends I was with had been before. First impressions: the restaurant was fresh, tables were clean, nicely set out, not too close to one another, centrepiece candle was burnt out and not replaced. A very small detail but details count. It wasn't busy but more fingers came in as the night progressed.My starter was excellent, found my main to be a little dry, puddings were really nice. An extensive menu with lots if choice!!Table service was excellent. Friendly staff who were extremely attentive.Yes, I would recommend a visit & I would go again.

Went for a family dinner on a Tuesday night. Staff were good, confident, and genuine. The food was really nice. Garlic bread with cheese was fantastic as a sharing starter. I had the black and blue burger. Which was great. Would recommend it.

3 course lunch for £20 per person, great value, food top quality. I paid a small supplement for the sirloin steak, which was well worth it. Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere in the conservatory which is a great spot for lunch when the weather is good, as it's light and airy.

What a delightful little restaurant by the lake. There was a nice warm, classy atmosphere with considerate staff.The menu was quite varied and the food prepared and presented to a very good standard.The wine was of a good quality and reasonably priced.I'm looking forward to returning to this little gem and can't wait to work through the menu.
