Tony is an absolute legend!! While on a mini touring trip along the south coast my bike started to make a funny noise. After visiting two bike shops, 1 couldn’t fix the problem and the other didn’t have the time we stumbled across Tony. He was really helpful and professional diagnosing the problem straight away and getting the bike back on the road in no time. I only wish I lived in Exeter so I could use him more often!

I was a bit sceptical when Google took me to the middle of a housing estate but I can't falt Tony's services. He has sorted me out twice now. FOX air suspension forks cable and a broken spoke. Always been quick and professional. And very honestly priced too. Would recommend to anyone with a bike problem.AAA+ Bicycle mechanic.

Tony is absolutely fantastic! He has helped me out short notice several times recently with my temperamental bike! He provides great advice and is very generous with his knowledge and recommendations for the bike. He is exceptionally communicative, so I always know when my bike will be seen and for how long. He is also flexible! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tony to anyone. He is super friendly and professional and makes you feel relaxed (other bike places can make you feel stupid for not knowing stuff, but Tony is nonjudgemental and always willing to cheerfully educate you so you know more about your bike). I honestly am SO glad to have found the Cycle Surgeon. It is conveniently located on my commute, very reasonably priced and absolutely the best service. Thanks Tony! I am more then happy and satisfied with the work that was done to my nephews bike, very friendly and helpful service. The bike is now running so smoothly, it almost looks brand new! Great value for money, would definitely recommend to anyone having trouble with a bike.

Tony was very helpful when my bike wheel broke. He had it fixed in about 30mins and was very communicative. Would definitely go to him again with any bike issues.

My wife had an accident on her bike and there were a number of things that needed to be looked at to make sure it was safe to ride again. The handle bars had become lose along with the front forks and the hydraulic brakes were leaking fluid.We looked at the various options out there and decided to go to Tony as he was local to us. Tony agreed to meet us same day and looked over the bike for us. We had it in our heads that we would be told we needed new brake leavers and other parts but he took one look at and told us it was all easy fixes he could do them and there.We walked away 30 minutes later with a bike that was fixed and, other than a couple of minor scratches, was as good as new. It cost us significantly less than we had expected and so we were very happy customers.We have been looking for somewhere to service our bikes each year and now we have someone local who we know we can trust to not rip us off.Thanks Tony for your honesty, speed of service and professionalism.

Tony is fantastic. He completely saved my day when I broke a couple of spokes cycling the LEJOG.Quick, efficient, and far cheaper than I'd expected as well. And, a nice bloke too.What's not to like?Highly recommended.I wish I knew someone like this at home!
