Progressive Martial Arts are an amazing organisation, with helpful & friendly instructors who always go the extra mile. My daughter has been attending sessions for over 5 years and has loved every minute! Even if she's having a tough day, a quick chat with Mr Ward at the start of a session makes her feel better, and she always comes home smiling. I love the ethos they promote, it's not just about Martial Arts - it focuses on being a better human in the world and being the best you can be in all aspects of your life. Can't recommend them highly enough!

So well run. The website works really well so it's no hassle at all booking grading exams etc. The money goes out automatically so I don't have to remember that either, which is very useful for someone with ADHD. My daughter loves the class, and she normally hates anything requiring discipline, so they obviously present it in a way that is perfect for everyone, and not just for competitive and serious-minded boys. I don't know how they manage that, and I'm really impressed! I just wish the holiday camps had more martial arts, as my daughter was hoping to spend the whole day doing it! That's one hell of a compliment, coming from her.

My children have been doing martial arts with Mr Harvey and the team from Progressive Martial Arts for a couple of years now, and absolutely love it. Mr Harvey is the perfect mix of discipline and fun and the children really respect him. I particularly like the way they study a 'life skill', such as gratitude or kindness, alongside their physical learning. This has translated significantly into the children's home lives. The children are motivated to progress and practise due to their regular belt gradings and the weekly and termly awards. I would highly recommend them.

Our son has been attending Progressive Martial Arts for the last 3 years and he loves it! And is becoming more confident. Steve Harvey and Mr Parkins are very welcoming and communicates well with parents and children.The sessions are structured in a fun but disciplined way. The reward approach (student of the week) helps to build children’s confidence. Thank you.

My son has been attending Progressive Martial Arts since he started year one. He is currently in year 6 and still really enjoying the lessons. He has been taught be both Mr Harvey and Mr De la Cruz. There is a great balance of learning discipline and technique, with fun and games. The life skills sheets they complete also help them think about how to be the best person. It is not about learning to fight, it is learning self defence and confidence while making new friends. Recommended.

I had a fantastic experience at Progressive Martial Arts. The staff was exceptional and extremely helpful. My son adores going there and he's making excellent progress. He looks forward to every session and I'm impressed with the confidence he's gained. The team takes excellent care of his needs and teaches him essential life skills such as self-defence, control, power, and balance. My child has been attending Progressive martial arts classes for 2 years . She enjoys her lessons. Her teachers are very approachable. Due to my work schedule I often have to communicate via email and I always get a quick response.I am able to see what skills my child is learning at this stage, from the videos that are available in the website. It enables my child to practise at home and allows me to help her rectify any moves or techniques. I would recommend this class. Thankyou

Steve and his team are amazing! My daughter loves attending each week and learns so much. The world is very different from when I was younger and I cant say how important I think martial arts is to our children now. She has a wonderful time and really enjoyed their holiday programme when it were running. My daughter has trued so many different clubs but this one keeps her motivated, interested and fit.

My daughter has been going to Progressive Martial Arts for the past 5 years. She absolutely loves it. Mr Harvey is a very good instructor and knows how to handle kids well. The life skills homework she get each term really helps her to learn valuable lessons for her future. The regular grading keeps her motivated and she is on to her Deputy Black belt.
