Staff is friendly and willing to help when you are lost. The Airport currently has construction happening, so be prepared to wait a little longer than usual. The amenities open at 4am and close at midnight if I’m not wrong. If you want baggage wrapping (charged me £38.50 for two suitcases) and so forth you may have to arrive within those hours to make sure you are able to be assisted. There are also baggage weighing areas costs you £1 per bag and if your luggage is over the weight limit they have storage area where you can offload access luggage at a fee of course. As I said before the staff is friendly across all services offered, I will keep on repeating that because I love great customer service.

I didn't have any issues here at Birmingham Airport. I had a TUI flight from here to Larnaca in Cyprus. The self bag drop was amazing, the staff were helping us when we got stuck. Duty Free is large, but please increase the seating! Simple and easy to navigate.

This international airport is big, busy, beautiful, a bit rowdy and not so neat. They have different Terminals and lots of seating areas at the arrival and departure.

Currently under renovation and still. Operational, was a bit chaos but still they tried to clear the crowd quick. The security check was smooth. Over a good average experience. Seems to be a busy airport.

Smooth, quick check in, followed by a quick and smooth arrival.Staff encountered all friendly and a clean welcoming way to our number 2 city.Car parks plentiful and not overly expensive with well catered for shuttle buses running frequently with friendly drivers who are very helpful.

6am flight to Amsterdam with KLM. Arrived there about 3am. Was already busy and had to wait half an hour for the luggage check in to open. We were 2nd in the queue so no wait for us. Security took a while to get through and to be honest it was a bit chaotic. So many people and staff trying to rush people through. Everything like tablets phones etc all had to be taken out of bags in put in trays to be scanned, yet in Amsterdam everything can be left in your bags. Passport control was quick. Once through it was chaos. People everywhere. Thankfully there are plenty of places to eat. We were going to eat at Wetherspoons but it was to busy so we ate next door at Giraffe. Food was amazing. Quick service. Friendly staff. Quick look around duty free and then off to our gate for our flight. Boarded quickly and left within 15 minutes of getting on the plane.

Birmingham Airport is the least worst Airport I visit. Dropping off today I discovered they have found a new way to extort there passengers. To drop off at departures sort of close to the terminal you have to pay £4 for 14mins of parking so your passengers don't have to drag cases a hundred metres to the departure lounge. How thoughtful.

The best airport in the UK in my opinion. Although they've raised parking prices ridiculously of late, it's still very easy to get to via public transport, and has a great set up both before security, and after. Feel very fortunate that it's the closest airport to me, and do my best to only fly from here.

Went to the viewing area a lovely day out watching planes land and take off. Picnic tables are sited so you can sit down and enjoy. Safe for children to watch planes.Take your own food and drinks because there is nothing around there except parked cars.Car parking fees are a little expensive but you can pay by card. Two hours £15 but worth it.
